Location was, as expected, just what we were looking for.
Poor mattress on super-king bed which was uncomfortable and even aggravated back pain. Although the general cleaning was clearly effective, the radiators in the bedrooms were grubby and the light on the stairs flickered for several minutes when first switched on. The radiator in the bathroom needs bleeding. The curtain hooks need some attention as some are hanging off the rails. However, these things could be put right easily and because the property has so many pluses, it could quickly attain a higher rating.

The location is fantastic - set within the grounds of the most interesting farm - peacocks wander about, there's sculptures and all sorts of things to see.
The cottage itself is lovely - feels very private with its own walled garden and drive. It was perfect for our two dogs who could wander outside the cottage area without going any further/where they shouldn't!
A short drive away from Padstow amazing secluded beaches or walk if you an avid walker.

Have been before, lovely cottage, ideally located for exploring so many different coves and beaches. Superb.
