Good caravans, nice staff, but poor facilities (especially Internet and mobile connectivity)

New caravans and friendly staff. Location is also closer to some beautiful beach towns in cornwall. Swimming pool is well maintained and heated which is a plus.

No Wifi facility at caravan. No mobile signal available as well, so it was a very bad experience as I planned to work for a few days from there. It is quite strange not to have Wifi as standard these days. I was even ready to pay, but they said it's not possible. The arcade games for kids do not work as well.

Van 42 grimey and not ‘Superior’. Staff lovely but couldn’t return to this van

The location was ideal for access to Falmouth, st ives, Perranporth is lovely and the walk to st Agnes is amazing

It’s the worst quality caravan we have stayed in, unsure if it’s because of having to chose dog friendly but not homey at all, no carpet in the lounge area, no lamps etc so big light or nothing- even bedside lamps/lights not there, basically van no.42 is a bit grim- Certain kitchen bits missing- No frying pan lid, No spatula ie for eggs, no oven gloves!!! Kind of necessary! No measuring jug/ bowl Oven expels air directly to the sofa when sat in the evening so you can’t really sit on that side unless you want to smell oven, it should be where the fridge is Curtains and blinds tatty and dirty and don’t reach full length- they’re light yellow so unfortunately show every mark and the metal chains feel grimey, half of them don’t work fully and the lounge door curtains don’t reach the floor Sofas grubby and one half of the main one facing the tv feels broken as you completely sink into it so it’s uncomfortable for your back Bathroom door hung upside down with large gap at the top making room too hot from towel radiator but why is it hung upside down? silicone laughable in bathroom- not sure what happened there Even the dining room table felt grimey once wiped, it all just needs ripping out and re doing, left a day early as weather awful and wasn’t the sort of van you wanted to relax in, the fact it was called superior van is crazy, we spied in a few others and other vans on site and they looked much nicer so I’d hope this van was at the end of its use and going to be replaced

Well equipped accessible caravan next to pool area. Caravan modern and clean. It had everything we needed. The caravan is close to stunning beaches. I would return.

Perfect family getaway

We had a lovely time. The accommodation was clean and cosy. The children had a great time in the swimming pool and on the nearby beaches. Great location for exploring. We also had our doggy with us and he could join in with everything we did except the swimming pool obviously.

Loved the space. Very well equipped lodge. Loads of hangers (unusual!), large bath towels (essential if you're a big person!), loads of hot water, very comfortable beds.

Need bedside lights for reading in bed, better lighting outside by steps into lodge, more lighting along roads to clubhouse. Would like to have been told bar would be closed for two nights of our stay.

This is our 4th visit to this site, we liked it here as it is quiet and found it very relaxing. Since our last visit, it has become more lively with evening entertainment and camping area.

The caravan we stayed in was the poorest experience yet! The toilet was broken, it hadn’t been cleaned very well and all surfaces were sticky on our arrival so I had to give everything a good clean before we unpacked. The smell inside the caravan was overpowering, which can only be described as severe body odour kind of smell. There was no blind in the kitchen leaving us exposed to the pool that we were directly behind. The fireplace also wasn’t working. I made reception aware and someone was sent out. The fireplace was fixed and the toilet handle was also fixed but came loose again within the hour. A separate person came and said he would return with a blind but he never came back so we were forced to cover the window with bin bags for the rest of the week. There was no offer of a move to another accommodation or partial refund which was disappointing given that we are frequent returning customers.

Lovely quiet site

The staff were just lovely. Everyone we encountered was friendly and welcoming. The children loved the climbing frame play area. Swimming pool was clean and a great size. The food in the site restaurant was good too. There were also bar games so we taught our boys how to play darts which was fun! Lovely quiet site.

There was no shop, which was a little annoying, although there was a londis in the nearby village. There was litter and some dog mess around the park, which is a guest issue but it would have been good if park staff could have kept ontop it.

I loved the lodge was beautiful everything needed very comfortable club house was good the lady doing the entertainment was fab. Really lovely lady kids enjoyed and was a lovely stay minus a few niggles

No breakfast option in the restaurant some times limited dinner option also. No food served in the morning or even a coffee as the bar or restaurant don't open till 12 took our daughter to do some activities eg tie dye t-shirt then onto. Making own plushie teddy. So we sat there for 2 hours no drink ect as nothing was open to even get a drink. So that for me was poor also the toilet in the swimming pool no doors. On. So my daughter was going toilet and a teenage boy walked in not really up to standard the door were there but not on the hinges and it was the same for the week we stayed could do with a shop or some thing selling drinks or food till 12 as very limited with things unless you drive.

We had a lovely relaxing stay. Thoroughly enjoyed it!

The kitchen facilities were amazing so we made our own meals. The accommodation was amazing, comfortable and clean. The site was very clean, well maintained and very relaxing. The dog friendly site and walks were amazing and very inviting with a lovely little pamper box for our dog.

The site is a long distance away from the beaches and walking to them is near impossible and dangerous. We had no decking area to sit or eat outside. The toilets in the bar need a little more attention for cleanliness.

The holiday home was beautiful, staff incredibly polite and attentive.

The property was beautiful, it seemed as though it had just recently been refurbished but to a high standard. The water was flowing beautifully in the showers, all in all the holiday home was beautiful! Added bonus was we got to the holiday park early but our holiday home was ready for us to go in at 13.00 whereby it was said we won’t be able to go in earlier and the staff were lovely! Perrenporth and Newquay are a short distance away, I would highly recommend Newquay as the beach has lovely soft sandy beaches, perfect for children.

There was just one room which I felt hadn’t been cleaned properly because as I pulled the stool forward their was sweet wrappers so it was questionable as to whether the room had even been cleaned!

The site was very quiet and wasn’t much going on in the clubhouse which didn’t bother us, we thought the food on site was fantastic and great value for money. Our luxury caravan was very clean! And had the majority of things we needed.

If I could pick something to improve on would be to have a hair dryer & WiFi in the caravan!

Perfect and a great joy!

This was our first time in Cornwall as a family. We stayed in a caravan ‘house’ it was so very spacious, clean and all round perfect for our family trip. The beds were super comfy too. We didn’t spend much time on site, as we like to venture out. The location was perfect for exploring Newquay and Perranporth. This was a great find! You’ve made us want to come back to Newquay already.

Everything about this was fantastic! From booking to leaving. Staff where really helpful and friendly. Static Caravan was amazing! Brilliant! So clean new feel and fresh! The areas around the site where lovley! Did. It feel boxed in or like a 'caravan park' at all! Lovely and quite, dog friendly! Lovely seeing rabbits bobbing about. Free parking. Easy to find!

Only thing I could say is, it would have been nice to have a table n chairs for the balcony but this is clutching at straws! There was fold up chairs we could take outside. It just would have been. Nice to also have a table.
