Just back from what was to be a solo trip to stay near family who were camped up in Newquay, but was joined by my brother. Loved the position of the van in the park, on the edge so felt private with lovely views. The site itself is very quiet and the pool looked lovely, I didn’t use it and didn’t see a soul in it all week. The van is really well equipped, we didn’t want for anything. Our dog settled really nicely from arrival. The balcony is lovely to sit out - didn’t see the chair cushions till the last day (hint - they are in the wardrobe). Whilst you need a car to get places, it’s perfectly located to travel all over Cornwall up and we went out daily up and down the coast exploring.

My travelling companion is very tall so ended up with the main bed while I took the twin. The beds are pretty narrow and personally I didn’t find the mattresses particularly comfortable, better suited for teens, smaller adults or children really. That said, there is a large sofa bed in the lounge that we could have used but chose not to for reasons of privacy mainly.

Great accommodation, owners had thought of pretty much everything you could need.
