Cosy warm little quiet bungalow, arranged near parking, restaurant good large portions, had everything we need, loved the bath. Rural view.
Could have done with an umbrella to sit out as I smoke. No disabled parking space next to bungalow. Would have liked 2 beds to push together same height as single beds v narrow.

Good value for money, liked the layout of the park, site generally clean and tidy and quiet at time of visit
Quiet felt safe
Beds comfy
Happy with the overall stay as exceptional value for money. However a little bit more TLC could go into cleaning found old contact lenses and food grime on blinds. Property basic but that is acceptable for price of stay.

Dirty bedding, windows, bathroom and kitchen. No response to complaint about this.
How dirty it was due to stay for bank holiday weekend and left after 1 night.

Friendly staff, quickly accomodated us even though we arrived slightly earlier than the planned check-in.
Accomodation was freshly cleaned, however the cleaning team could focus a little more on dusting the surfaces, but other than that everything appeared clean to use, including the shower and toilet.
Good selection of kitchen utensils that made our stay very easy.
Helpful to have EV charging available on site and very cheap.
The need to book in for swimming with very few slots available and no notice when the booked slots couldn't be used due to pool closure.

Had a dishwasher
Stayed in 28 strawberry hill for 3 nights from Friday 29 Aug to 1st sept, it smelt damp and musty, was filthy when arrived had to call up and get someone to come clean it, the headboards were very dusty, large dark thick cobwebs in kitchen and rooms, mould around upstairs windows and around the bath, dog hairs on one of the pillow cases, had to re wash all cups, plates, cutlery, Emma who came was fantastic though and was very apologetic she was due to finish but went above and beyond to get it to a reasonable standard (need more like her!)

We liked that it was closer to all popular spots e.g. st ives beach, land ends etc so was easier to drive there and back especially with young kids! We arrived at the venue late (heavy traffic due to accident on M5) and receptionist ensured we were able to check in late.
When we arrived to our room (Room 25 Strawberry Lane), there was a strong foul smell, as if previous guests had dogs and we really didn't like this smell at all. It was very smelly, which made our stay very very uncomfortable. My kids also complained of this smell and struggled to sleep at night. The overall room was very dirty, there was ball of dusts on stairs, spider webs everywhere, moulds on bunk bed mattress cover and I could see it was so filthy which was a shame as my kids were really looking forward to sleeping on bunk beds but I couldn't bring them to sleep on these due to how filthy it was. The beds were very uncomfortable, my husband developed neck pain due to this discomfort. I was very very disappointed with my stay at this holiday park as I was expecting better. Also, as soon as one of my kids sat down on sofa, this awful dust came out, I have no idea what this was and it really put me off from sitting down on these sofas. Cornwall is such a beautiful place but unfortunately my kids couldn't wait to come back home due to this room and how dirty and smelly it was. I will not be coming back to this holiday home and I will definitely not recommend it to anyone else.

It was secure with double glazed windows.
Very dated and dirty outside (cobwebs and seagull poo on sky light windows. A strange smell from old carpets. Bathroom slight mould in places.

It was nice and clean. Kitchen well equipped. Calm atmosphere.
It was difficult to access to swimming pool. Tried to book at 7am as instructed but at 7am most of the times were already fully booked for some reason. No much to do around but st Ives beach made us very busy so no much time spent in the property.

This is the worst holiday park ever. No cleaningness at all. Spider webs all over the door. Birds noise disturb your sleep all night. I asked for my refund from booking.com they refused to help

Lovely outside area, very cosy and green. Spacious living area inside. Lovely staff (the (I think Birmingham) lady cleaning with dark blonde hair cleaning Tudors) and Sarah the entertainer and bar staff! Bingo was good and a good price compared to st Ives. The free table tennis and mini golf was great!
The double room was small with a small double bed, could not pull out drawers. Both drawers and bed side table were broken in different spots. Freezer was frozen over and would not close when we arrived which we needed to fix. Having to put your own bed linen on even though stated was a shame and feel this could be offered given the check in time of 4pm being quite late. Given the fact it’s school holidays very shocked to see no entertainment for two nights and the bar etc closing so early when open (a positive as we enjoyed the bar and disco so would have been nice to stay later)

The location was close to the areas we wanted to visit and explore. All the major superstores were close by, which was a great advantage to us. The scene and surrounding the Manor House were very comforting.....can't complain, beautiful.
It would be great if a mop was to be placed in the bathroom and a non slippery mat for the bathroom, too.

I like the size of the property but was expecting something slightly bigger considering we were in a silver it's such a shame that we found some mould on some of the children's beds.
We didn't like the fact that we found Mould on the children's bed and some in the bathroom, and as you entered, the smell was a bit off-putting..

Friendly staff. Good location for visiting lots of places. Well stocked shop.
Beds, need new mattress so very poor quality of sleep. No entertainment on Sunday. Pool shuts early. We found underwear from previous occupants down the side of the bed.

It was cheap, but there is a reason.
Whole site is very dated. Looks like no money has been spent on it in years.
Room had a very odd musky smell.

Bungalow was really clean and well fitted out. A small site but great free facilities - my son loved the crazy golf, table tennis and tennis. The evening entertainment was fun too and a nice crowd. Better for older kids than toddlers
Nothing g really. It’s an older site so there is some wear and tear - the swimming pool for example is tired and in need of refurbishment but it didn’t stop us enjoying it

Cottage and the facilities, specially swimming pool
No reception for the phones, and without wifi it's very difficult to find things to do outside, my kids were very stressed as they can't use the Internet. Oven wasn't clean

Nothing. It was too small. Bedrooms are cramped, you can’t breathe. Location, beaches were close by.

Location, playground, bar
Facilities need renovation. A holiday park that with some renovation will make a huge difference. 2 car charging points are insufficient when some owners will leave their cars overnight.

Stripy Kirstie did an amazing job of entertaining the children. The kids loved engaging with her in the different activities throughout the day.
Unfortunately, the aqua jets did not work during our stay.

Ideal location for visiting gardens etc.Staff welcoming and friendly.Food lovely .Quickly served ,good value for money .
We were allocated a disabled bungalow which we didn't need .It was completely in the shade and surrounded by trees. Even though the weather was beautiful we had to put the heating on to stay warm because of single glazing. It smelt of damp / blocked drains .
Simple things missing , a chopping board ,placemats ,coasters and an oven glove . Essentials to us ,which we provided when we had a caravan letting business . I agree it was cheap but we did expect the John Fowler name to provide better .

quiet surroundings, clean, wet room was well maintained.
lack of signage from main road, pool table & cues and white ball needs attention, no toilet brush in toilet, sink has slight leak from bottom, loose seat and toilet, being woken up at 8: 15 from the Internet company drilling the wall to the bedrooms, lack of storage space in main bedroom.

Like the location, very close drive to all the coast around, the house was clean, majority of the staff is amazing
The house did have a close smell that didn't go away, even leaving windows open. Carpet did need a good clean, did have stains on it

Worst experience as not clean property, spiderwebs around every where and dirty bathroom
1.0 / 10.0
Staff was great and friendly. Pool was average but cold, not very heated and a lot of chlorine.
Chalet was not as clean. The mattresses was old, awful and the springs pushing through. Awful sleep and only managed 2 nights and even left as couldn’t bare another night so extremely dissatisfied. The linen was cheap and felt like it’s been used for centuries. Place was dump and smelled awful. Kids complained about their mattresses and the smell. It was extremely uncomfortable and I would not stay again. The place feels like it needs an update but they staff are lovely

didn't have breakfast. The location and value was great.
Too many off lead dogs despite it being low season and signs up everywhere saying dogs on leads. People letting their dogs out alone from their accommodation. Our dog was upset and we were stressed.

The property was clean, the beds were comfortable
The fridge was tiny- unable to even put a 6 pint of milk in the door. Given that the property sleeps 6 and has a cot it was unacceptabley small fridge. Luckily we travelled with a cool box that we were able to keep the milk in.

Close to the shop and all facilities. The activities and entertainment were excellent, as a family we had wonderful time. There are lots to do and keep your kids happy and busy. A decent swimming pool and never crowded which makes your swimming enjoyable.
We booked and pay for a silver bungalow, however after we’ve been charged we received a text saying that the property is not available and will be change to a bronze one, which we had to accept as the kids were so happy we’re going on holiday and we didn’t have any other options. The property was clean, I don’t want to be misunderstood that the staff did not clean before, but the state of it makes it uncomfortable. First thing was the smell, maybe coming from the filthy coach and armchair, was good we had blankets and covered them, otherwise we couldn’t sit on it. In general very old building and very smelly. Is a shame to have such a space and to not invest a little to make it more enjoyable for the guests!
