The property was mainly very clean, and the kitchen had everything we needed for a short stay. The layout of the property worked well for us, with one bedroom downstairs plus a shower room. Upstairs there were two more bedrooms and a large bathroom. The bedding was clean. There was no smell of damp, which can happen in chalet-type properties.
The site was very well kept. There is a pool which we didn't use, and we noticed a large laundrette.
We were unable to access the internet, despite the property information stating that it was free. There was no information available to guide us on how to access it. There was no hair dryer, which was annoying as we had explicitly travelled for a party and I had checked this in the information. I was cross about this.
The sofas were very comfortable, but they were rather stained and could do with replacement or at least a couple of throws on them. An assumption was made regarding the beds that all we needed was a double and a single. There were three of us: my daughter, my granddaughter, and I. We needed our own beds, so I slept without proper bedding. Thankfully, I had taken my own silk pillow case. I don't recall being asked how many beds we needed, I assumed they would all be made up.
