Amy & Julian are great hosts. Communication was excellent. The accommodation has been thoughtout very carefully, everything you need on arrival is there. Milk, scones with jam and cream, wood for the fire, dog treats, bowls and a towel. You could even collect fresh eggs from the chickens.
There are walks to a small village with a pub which serves food. Also a walk to a small church where Thomas Hardy married the vickers daughter.
Trixie (our dog) loved all the walks.
It's a short car journey into Boscastle and surrounding areas including Tintagel.

This cottage was brilliant, it was nice and tucked away, with great views and all the essentials needed for a comfy stay. Its location also puts it close to lots of lovely beaches. I've recommended this to everyone I know and I would definitely recommend this to anyone else looking for a quiet retreat.

We loved everything about the property. It's cosy, simple and efficient. Everything is provided although food storage for self catering is very limited but not a major issue. There is a games room with all sorts to do and toys for children.
Amy, Julian and his mum are wonderful, very helpful and friendly.
The farm is very isolated and quiet so perfect for reflection and meditation. We were able to allow our indoor cat to roam free as there were no other animals in the vicinity which was a gold star bonus. Only 2 miles from Boscastle, where there are shops. A farm shop only half a mile away and a Tesco superstore about 25 minutes. Absolutely fabulous and, we have already begun planning a return trip.
Absolutely nothing to dislike or complain about.

Very comfortable and very clean. The felt we were like at home 😊
If I had to say anything it was the WiFi being a bit hit and miss but we weren’t that bothered.

The cottage was gorgeous! It was tucked away on the farm with views of the countryside and was easy to find and access. The place was spotless and comfortable with everything we needed for the weekend away. The owners even provided a welcome cream tea and a care package for our dog which was a really lovely touch! The walks around the farm were wonderful and we slept really well. The location is great for exploring, and we stocked up at the local farm shop as well as visiting cafes in Boscastle which was only a few minutes drive away. One of my favourite staycations and will definitely be looking to visit again!

The location was great for Boscastle, Tintagel and Crackington Haven. The cottage was in good working order, clean and had high quality furnishing, with nice attention to details.
The shower was great, the log burner was lovely.
Couldn't find any tea towels, good job we took our own. Could have done with a second frying pan when we were cooking breakfast. Just a small one would have been helpful, and a second throw on the sofa would have been nice as the first night it was quite chilly. We soon figured out the heating and the log burner though.
Pool table was missing some balls, but the games room was appreciated by my son and husband

So spacious and comfy, lots of lovely touches and cream tea on arrival! Lovely scenery, outside areas. Great quality smart TV too! A real break from the city and very close to charming Boscastle.

Everything about this cottage was perfect for us. We're already thinking of booking for next year with our small grandchildren as we think they'd love it.
Spacious, clean, cosy...dog friendly.
Literally has everything you need there for a week away....even did some washing while there.
Games room is a brilliant addition....and loved collecting fresh eggs from the coups for brekki.
Check in was 4pm, but Amy text saying the cottage was already available at about 11.30am should we need to check in early...added bonus.
The location is 8 mins drive from stunning Boscastle...plenty of pubs/cafes and shops.
Great base for travelling to St Ives/Newquay/Padstow/Bude.
We loved our stay and will be back again.
Fabulous!

Quiet, clean, comfortable, good Covid precautions (including windows open on arrival), great facilities and a well equipped kitchen, lovely setting on a large quiet farm. Great for quiet walks.
We stayed in Fox Park cottage, a middle cottage on a run of 4, opposite the barn with communal games area.
It’s an upside down cottage with views across the countryside from the living space upstairs. Bathroom downstairs with the bedrooms.
Freshly decorated, looked just like the listing photos.

We had the best time staying at Cargurra Farm. The cottage and Farm was so idyllic and perfect. Thank you Amy for the cream tea and hot chocolate upon arrival. Fresh eggs from the chickens in the morning for breakfast we're delightful and sitting outside in the evening watching the stars, we didn't want to leave but as the saying goes you have to leave to come back again and our last night we spent watching the sunset at Boscastle Harbour...perfect.
We will definitely be back. Thank you so so much

Everything we needed was there. Confortable, some space outside for the children to play. Lots of games and toys in the game room. And of course the chickens and eggs!!! Location was good to go (by car in 10-15min) to lovely beaches.
Double bed could be a bit wider. Some shelves for storing clothes would be practical. Appliances a bit noisy (we had to switch the cooker off) when upstairs.

Lovely cottages in fantastic location, good for the dog and collecting eggs was good however around 9am is the best, we went a little early for a few days.

The positives definitely outweighed any negatives, I'm just being honest.
The surrounding countryside and scenery is gorgeous and only a short drive from Boscastle. We had a lovely view of cows in a field from our window, it was very peaceful.
The bedding & towels were lovely & clean and the extra Covid measures were appreciated.
Cream tea & fresh milk on arrival was a welcome surprise.
Play room was fab for the kids, everything you need including board games & DVDs to borrow.
Lovely and cool of an evening to sleep as Little Gurras is an upside down house.
Responsive and welcoming host.

There was a damp smell every time we arrived back at Little Gurras cottage despite windows being constantly open
Was a bit miffed we paid £997 for a week through booking.com, but the max price on their website for the cottage is £854, especially as it looks quite dated inside compared to other cottages in the row. It was the only one with bunk beds too, which my daughters said creaked and kept them awake.
I was persuaded by the 'clean' reviews but the bin wasn't clean on arrival, the inside lid had food remnants with mould on. There was also dried bird poo over the table & chairs which I had to clean as soon as we got there. Everything else seemed clean though & all soft furnishing were removed for Covid purposes, which is good.
Our table & chairs out the front weren't in the evening sun - but the other cottage's were ( I know this cant be helped). There is another table by the children's park in the sun, but this was often taken by another family.

Great location for exploring Boscastle and the North Cornwall coast.
Excellent facilities, and nice patio area with bbqs.
Good games room well stocked with lots of things to keep the kids amused.
Kids loved collecting eggs from the hens!
Nothing really, we'd happily stay here again

Everything you needed was included, kids loved the upside down cottage, and enjoyed being able to make use of the games room. The afternoon tea welcome was perfect.
Bed wasn’t the comfiest but other than that was brilliant. Wasn’t particularly close to a village but great spot to go off and explore the area, which we did!
