Excellent space to work and rest. I will be booking again.

The room was spotlessly clean, warm and comfortable. The bed was comfortable and the bathroom very clean. It had an inviting ambience when I first went in to the room. The area is ideal for my work needs. It is quiet and near shops.

The Internet access was sometimes a little unpredictable but I know the owners have been working hard to rectify this.

Handy for Uni!

Very comfortable stay, owners really friendly and I appreciated the easy access to the car park when the dog needed to go out ! Really convenient for Uni visits and city centre too - thank you !

Excellent Service from the staff.

The hotel was clean and comfortable. I was met as I was walking into the hotel by a friendly member of staff ( Megan I think her name was). Shown to my room which was comfortable. I was unsure where I had to walk to get to a pub where I was meeting friends. She was so helpful , getting the route and walking times etc. Then she returned to my room and said that the manager and herself would go to the theatre and walk back with me. What a kind gesture. However , someone else I knew turned up, so I had people to walk back with. The room was clean, comfortable and had good facilities. Kettle, tea, coffee etc. TV. Chair and ensuite shower room. Convenient location for The Stags pub and Lantern Theatre.

The car park wasnt very big for the number of cars parked.

There wasn't much space in the room, and poor sound insulation through the door so we could hear everything going on in the stair well and landing.

Quiet area , good for overnight stop.

Good location in Sharrow Vale. Quiet residential area. Comfortable king sized bed, very clean. Kettle with tea & coffee. Good shower and nice staff. Small carpark at the front of the property. 10 min walk to the Stags Head pub with fab food and beer. Dog friendly so a good stopover while visiting our daughter at the uni.

Perfect just what we were looking for a one night stay .

We were greeted at the door by owner / manager what a lovely friendly lady , our room was a quad room with a king size bed and 2 full size singles , very comfortable beds ,our room and ensuite were very clean little extras such as shower gel moisturiser etc tea coffee milk were appreciated . Lovely white towels and bedding .Would highly recommend this hotel if we were in this area again . Thank you

I would not use this accomodation again.

The premises were largely clean and the location suited us well. Parking was freely available outside the door.

The room was small and it was a squeeze to fit between the TV stand and the corner of the bed. The bin had not been emptied from the previous guest's use and the toilet was not fixed firmly to the floor. The walls were thin and we were woken and kept awake during the night for a while by the sound of a baby crying nearby in the hotel.

I don’t know if this is an exception, but for our one night stay we did not have any heating or hot water. These are the basics of a hotel. When asked about this in the morning, I was told that the hot water tank has only this much hot water and when it’s gone it’s gone. Well, just change the tank because you are a hotel. Basics! On top, the TV was broken and had just a leftover of toilet paper.

In a great central place. Really clean & comfortable. The staff are so lovely. Id reccomend this place to anyone. It's immaculately clean & the staff are so friendly & will do anything to help you. They go the extra mile. The manager was a delightful lady.

The tv needs fixing as it's unwatchable. It's to do with the signal & connection. I had to spend an afternoon & evening in the room & the tv was unwatchable. You have many channels which is great but pointless if it's not working to view them.

Room was light due to no curtains just wooden blinds. No mirror in bathroom and bathroom door didn’t close and handle very loose. There was a bedside lamp but there was no where to plug it in. Door to room rattled every time front hotel door was opened loudly waking us.

Comfy moderate size room with nice ensuite bathroom + standing shower, very friendly & helpful staff. Good Wifi and a small desk space.

TV was not working properly, lots of interference so couldn't watch TV really. Parking is available on site but limited if the hotel is busy. However there is available off street parking as well. I don't believe breakfast was included & therefore a bit pricey.

Nicely renovated property

The hotel was being renovated at the time. Despite this I encountered 0 noise. Staff were very down to earth. The room was clean and well equipped

My biggest issue was there was no internal deadbolt on the door. It was opened by key only but it was a bit uneasy to have no control of my security. Though I appreciate this could be something yet to be installed in the renovation
