Nice bar area, warm comfortable room

Nothing it was fine

Location and ease of access and parking. Rooms nice and comfortable but the whole place needs a bit of love and care to tidy up and prepare for 2026!

Still packing up and cleaning from New Years Eve not many staff available. Should not charge extra for early check in as well as paying for parking.

Bedroom was very nice , TV had no remote but the owner spent a lot of time programming a new one in. Thank you Breakfast was good Have stayed here twice .

We came back to property and had to go down a side entrance to get in. Was poorly lit .

The price was good for what we needed.

We had the family room which was down 2 flights of stairs. It felt like we were down in the basement at the end of a corridor. The hotel staff photocopied my driving licence, and for date protection reasons they shouldn't have done.

This is the 3rd time we have stayed. Rooms 8 is rather small and the bed isn’t as great as the other rooms. But this won’t stop us going back

Absolute dump. Don’t know where to start really. Opposite a strip club. Disturbances all night from the 24/7 door makes me think it’s being used as a brothel. Freezing cold with the bust windows. Carpet manky didn’t want to touch it, can’t wait to go home to get a clean shower. Could smell coke soon as stepped in the room. Bedding was clean but stained, the stained pube ridden throws on top were unnecessary. Tiles uneven in bathroom. Just a dive. Would have checked out if we hadn’t have got there so late. Thick with dust everywhere. Did not feel safe to sleep

Room had everything we needed for a one night stay and cooked breakfast was very generous. Location was convenient for town centre and football ground which was where we were going. Quiet at night. Parking £5 for 24 hours on site.

Location was central as advertised.

Due to reviews, I asked to see the room I was going to be checking into a guy kindly showed me to the room, before paying for parking. there was only this guy and myself in this hotel at the time or see it seemed. Room- was not like advertised. I paid for a large King room or so I thought. Similar to the one in the photos with the silver bed below and I was shown to what looked like a double bed in a dark and dingy basement with limited lighting and a dirty mouldy shower tray. I explained that this room was not 4 star as advertised and it didn't look like photos I had seen or been sent from Booking. com. I have been left to contact this hotel on my own and had no help from Booking.com at all. The one and only time I did get to speak to the hotel owner, he called me a liar and stated I hadnt even seen the rooms and was going to check the CCTV. He has since called me crazy through messages from Booking.com. I have never known unprofessional service and I have travelled the world, Obviously so hard up not to refund the monies, I told him to buy new sheets or to pay for a cleaner.

The pub and restaurant a few doors down were very nice and reasonably priced. The town itself has seen better days but that wasn't the hotels' fault. There was a parking lot for a fee. It was basically the only hotel in town.

The bed was the worst we encountered in the 5 weeks we were road tripping through England. More like a box spring on the floor. The room was the bed, although the bathroom was very spacious. The staff refused to take a pedestal fan out of the room which took up most of the floor space even though it was 40 degrees F .

The location was great, easy to find and close to amenities. The staff were friendly.

Good location near local town center and many traditional and new pubs. Good size room. Nice and reasonably clean.

Whilst good, it was over priced, Very few other guests so the bar area was empty. Additional £5 per day for parking!

The light in the bathroom flickered and didn’t go out. The bed sagged in the middle.

The bed in room 1 was ridiculously short and the mattress was not very comfortable at all.

Dirty room, leaking roof outside of room, broken lights in bathroom. 20year old mattress with stains. Dust on lampshade bases , cobwebs and very grubby carpet. Plus beer from bar was off. I left within 45mins of arrival

Horrible place, avoid!! Nothing at all like it looks or says on the listing. Wouldn't risk eating she didn't feel comfortable at all.

The level of cleanliness in the hotel was terrible, the sheets were clean but the room clearly hadn't been dusted or hoovered between stays and there were toothpaste marks in the sink from the previous guest that stayed.

Everything really dirty and mattress needs throwing away! Springs on it or literally coming through! Absolutely disgusting I’ve thrown better away. The walls were covered in what looked like faeces.. I was so tired from working early that I couldn’t be bothered to complain and leave or I would have!

Its is Beautiful and very clean property and rooms are spacious. All Modern design and equiped good value for money as compare to Premier inn or ibis etc
