    I wanted a place to stay to attend to a personal family matter and stayed in this hotel for a total of 5 nights over 3 weeks. Not surprisingly, there is not too much accommodation in Rotherham, hence booking Carlton Park Hotel and also allowing for the fact it was in a convenient location for my needs. The room was okay but I guessed there had been smoking in it previously with a slight musty smell. Not wanting to be condisending, I think there were asylum seekers housed in this hotel. One one occasion, I had to go to reception at midnight to complain about the noise from the room above, which was addressed okay. During my first stay, there was no heating on in my room - in February! I contacted reception but still no heating. On my other 2 visits, the heating was on. I may not have the need to stay overnight in Rotherham again, but should I do, may seek alternative accomodation. Overall, disappointing.
