It’s handy for working at the hospital
The room was cold with no heating. No hot water for a shower or to wash with. Dirty cup rings by the side of sink.

Short but not very sweet
Its location
I booked 3 rooms. All 3 were on the cool side of comfortable. Room 112 the TV wouldn’t turn on. Room 114, the TV wouldn’t turn off. Room 112, the curtain pole was held together with duck tape, the bathroom vertical surfaces were covered by splash marks and had no T-bags. The water from the hot taps in all 3 rooms was not hot enough. 2 guests couldn’t stand under the shower because the rainfall shower head was fixed too low for them (6ft tall). I chose not to address the problems while I was there as we were in Rotherham for a funeral so I didn’t have the headspace. All in all, an underwhelming experience.

No hot water, tv remote didn’t work, only one cup in a double room, no spoon and only one pillow each.

Hotel from the Shining
The price was possibly the only good thing
Almost everything. There was so much dust in the room, the curtains were COVERED in it, the wallpaper was peeling off. We were only given one pillow each which also wasn't the best - my friend had to roll up her towel and put it under the pillow for something. The duvet was also so thin it barely did anything. There was also no bin in the room and no hand towel for the bathroom. The iron and heat press didn't work, there was only 2 plug sockets in the corner of the room and nowhere near the beds for charging, the lighting in the room was really poor and there was so many stains and grime on the walls. There was also a fowl smell like burnt hair and baby food when you entered the room. We had to open the window immediately to try and air out the room. I also went on a walk to the bar and check out the facilities and was told off for walking around the hotel and told to go back to the room!! And as a result I didn't feel like I could raise any concerns with the staff about the room. I feel like I've gotten sick just from staying in the room as I'm so congested. It genuinely felt like we were staying in the hotel from the Shining. I have more photos but can't attach more than 4.

No hot water for whole stay, appliances out of date and not tested since 2018 (stated on stickers) two twin beds pushed together and the mattresses weren’t same in size.
