Really impressed, great location, staff, breakfast. Will definitely stay at Leonardo

Great location, walking distance to station & centre of Sheffield- shops, restaurants etc. Clean & modern look. Friendly, helpful staff. Able to store bags before check-in & after check-out at no extra cost. Fantastic breakfast buffet- all the usual stuff…full English, cereals, fruit, pastries etc but lots more choice than other places I’ve stayed. 1st time staying at a Leonardo hotel & will definitely look for Leonardo Hotels when I am booking hotel stays in the future.

Truly relaxing with all your needs met

Received a free upgrade with complimentary items on the 9th floor. Beautiful views, extremely clean room. I booked a single room and the room was spacious, absolutely love the paintings in the room. Staff were super friendly. Would 100% recommend. And they have a safety measure at night, when you enter the hotel they double check guest names which is reassuring as single women travelling.

Loved my Christmas stay booking for 2026 Christmas as well.

So, christmassey and super staff. Service with a smile. Upon check-in, I received a chocolate bar, which was a lovely touch. Plus, an upgrade in room, which was a great surprise 🎄. Big thanks to all the staff 5*. Excellent breakfast that is definitely a must on all my future stays.

Wonderful stay in Sheffield center

Due to bad weather, we had to miss the first night; upon our request, the hotel kindly offered us breakfast, which was much appreciated. Helpful staff, perfect central location and a very comfortable hotel. Strongly recommended. Exc ellent breakfast with a wide selection of both sweet and savoury options. Very comfortable mattress.

Enjoyed the stay but frustrated by the bar the staff.

Room size and comfort was very good, the room was well lit and had good facilities. The bathroom was a good size and shower control and pressure was excellent. Room and bathroom were clean and seemed well maintained.

The remote control did not work on the TV. The sofa location was strange as you couldn’t use it to watch TV. Although clean and well maintained the bathroom was dated and needed better lighting. Bar prices were expensive and the service was awful. Taking ten minutes to be served in an almost empty bar. One of the bar staff avoided serving anyone for the duration of my wait and the second bar staff spent as much time printing and stapling receipts as actually serving. Very frustrated by the time I got a drink.

The reception and lifts are stylish. The bedding was crisp and clean.

The room carpet was stained. The AC on the roof opposite is noisy with the window open. I asked for a quiet room, away from the lifts, and my room was opposite the lifts!

the tv didn’t work. the shower door didn’t close and the shower itself didn’t work properly. it was either burning hot with low pressure for icy cold with high pressure, absolutely nothing in between.

Friendly staff, comfortable beds, clean, beautiful and comfortable furnishings downstairs in the bar and waiting areas. Security to access rooms 100%. Came back after a day out to find the beds had been made. Free WiFi. Plenty of tea/coffee. Iron etc all in room

It would be nice to be able to access cold, fresh water as the water in the dispensers was warm. It's a shame that there's no access to the hotel directly from the carpark, especially if disabled.

A City Centre Gem to Stay

Location of the hotel was perfect to venture around Sheffield. There was plenty of car parking options with good information provided by the hotel prior to arrival to help pick the right option. (Parking is an additional cost). The hotel room was clean and tidy and fairly priced for the city centre. Bed was very comfortable to sleep in with little noise outside which was great. The bar area was lovely to sit in and chill out with a drink. The staff were excellent and very helpful. Would happily stay again the next time I’m in Sheffield.

What's not to love?

It was the perfect stay for someone who was coming into Sheffield and needed a convenient hotel with everything they could want for a stopover. Actually the bed was one of the most comfortable I've ever stayed in, with a bountiful duvet and 4 huge pillows. The breakfast was awesome, staff were efficient. Loved it

Had a lovely stay at the leonardo hotel.

Hotel was lovely and in a great location. Rooms were clean, beds were super comfortable and liked that we were able to control the temperature which was great as we had a new born with us. Underground parking was also secure and priced really reasonable considering the city centre location.

Not entirely clear how to get to the car park.
