The hotel is perfectly located - 5 min walk from Attercliffe tram stop and 10-15 min walk from the Sports Institute and Ice Arena.
I originally booked a single bed, but was upgraded to a double bed so that was nice. Room was clean, and tidy and the bed was comfortable.
As it was a Saturday evening when I arrived, the pub below was quite busy and had loud music. Though you couldn't hear it in the room itself, pub dwellers once the pub was closed could be heard outside on the street (something to be aware of) luckily it wasn't too bad that night.

I booked this hotel late and they were very flexible with me. Allowing me to book in between 11pm and 12pm. The staff member who greeted me at the front door, was very friendly, welcoming and helpful. And the woman who gave me my keys and showed me to the room Etc, was lovely and friendly too. I arrive back at about six in the morning after going out and I had no problems getting in.
For me, what could’ve been better, but I must admit I didn’t read the details fully on the website. I wasn’t able to make myself a hot drink in the morning, as although there was a kettle and mugs, there was no tea coffee milk etc. I was a bit cold when I came in as well and I couldn’t work out how to put the heating on in the room.

Room relatively recently decorated and was clean enough. Beds quite comfy and en suite clean and fresh.
Location good for Utilita stadium.
Welcomed into the hotel by a regular bar customer who opened the locked door for us and pointed to the check in “hatch”. It was very intimidating every time we came and went from the room as we had to squeeze through the party that was always going on in the very small bar. Luckily we couldn’t hear it from our room.
Room was very cramped for the 3 of us and barely room to move with our suitcases. There was a kettle and 3 mugs but no coffee, tea or anything else to make a drink. Parking was also pot luck to find a space nearby with all the road closures right at the hotel.
