Spacious room with large desk space and sofa, and a small fridge. Having Sainsbury next door was very convenient. Close to town centre shops, restaurants and station. With secure parking, convenient, but have to pay extra for this.
Pool not as available as expected, closed on Friday and part of Thursday.. Bed was too firm for my liking. Staff polite, but not really engaged.

Having been to Sheffield a few times 10+ years ago and had friends stay at Novotel, I hadn’t been in the property. Therefore I was surprised how modern the place was and good to see it’s kept up and excelled.
Bar was very relaxed later at night and spacious for when we returned after 11.
The pool was a bonus as did not even realise this was an option when booking !
Rooms sound proofed well so did not hear the Sheffield Marathon being set up or the 100s runners arriving early morning !!
