Functional hotel but have stayed in better nearby for a similar price.

It was comfortable and clean.

The WiFi was poor and I had the super fast version as an Accor member. The shower didn’t really heat up.

The staff were great. Comfy bed. Great location. Easy to check in and out. Decent breakfast. Great hot shower. Perfect pressure.

Centrally located but could be more comfortable

Centrally located though a little awkwardly tucked away. Room was a decent size.

The welcome from the chap at the front desk was fairly disinterested, and below what we would have expected. Room was exceptionally cold and adjusting the thermostat made no difference whatsoever. We ended up sleeping in jumpers.

Expensive but a great location

The location is great. The bar and restaurant are smart. The room was comfy with nice single beds. The pool is small but nice.

There was an overwhelming smell of cannabis in the corridor outside our room. People were coming in until about 3 am crashing doors. Breakfast was mediocre. Parking is very expensive and tight.

Fantastic value, great room, lovely relaxed atmosphere, would definitely stay again!

I absolutely loved my Queen suite, it was so spacious and it felt like a little slice of luxury for one night away from home and the usual routine!! Also the bar/restaurant was great, lovely views down over the city and a chilled relaxed atmosphere throughout the evening. Even better that I could end the evening enjoying a Bushmills Black Bush!

Long delay on food being served at the hotel, although good that the staff informed me of that when I went to order, so I could make a choice. Was told the wait was over 1 hour so unfortunately I had to eat in a pub around the corner instead. I had intended to stay within the hotel for the whole of my stay though.

Pleasent stay

The walk in shower. As a disabled person it was invaluable to me. The bed was comfy too. l slept all night which I haven't done in a long time

All right - but I expect more for the money I paid

Pleasant and efficient staff - to a woman! ( I never saw a make member of staff).

I was initially put in a disabled room. I am glad that they have them - BUT this room was not for a normal person for a 4 night stay! Short wardrobe - you could only ( just about) hang a shirt. Too short for my skirt - and definitely too short for the dresses I had taken! No door hooks even. I could not hang up my coat which was wet when I arrived. Shower - was tepid at best!! Pillows dreadful. Two out of four were like concrete. I was moved the following day. That room was satisfactory - but the whole hotel - seems in need of an update.

Breakfast a little disappointing, chewy dried out bacon and pastries, orange squash rather than juice (or at least it tasted very watery). Not up to the usual standard I have experienced at Novotel. Everything else was great

Brilliant location spacious room and helpful, attentive staff.

My room containing abandoned socks and tissues. No hot water from the bathroom sink and breakfast items being lukewarm or cold.

Great place to stay.

The hotel had everything we needed. The cot was up on arrival, the dog was easy to have with us. The car park had spaces and was secure. Bed was comfy, relatively quiet, loads of the baby to do. Decent restaurant and on site gym!

Parking was limited and pricey. The option for discount at nearby facilities was difficult as need code from reception to then to prebook which you cannot do of already there and parked!

Great hotel

Quick check-in with helpful and friendly staff. Room was spacious and clean with all the facilities we needed. Great location, right next to bars, restaurants and the Christmas Market!

Sucks

The location

The lady from the reception at night time was not helpful or pleasant at all, we barely got any information about the place or anything that was ask. The housekeeping sucks, not leaving clean towels and at one time they left their cleaning supplies in the room . The bar at night takes forever to get someone to get the order for food, she didn’t even know what was the soup of the day. I will never referred anyone to this place .

Awful service specially at night , the receptionist at the front desk was not helpful at all. Housekeeping didn’t leave clean towels in the room and even left their cleaning supplies cleaning supplies in the middle of the room , Never again will be referring anyone one to stay there .

Dreadful night, overpriced rooms

Location was good

Very small room. Loud music from an event until midnight made it impossible to sleep. Volume not reduced despite request.i would have cancelled the booking had we been notified of the party. Electricity went off several times overnight making the room hot and stuffy. Watermarks on the ceiling from leaks

Wet room out of use. Function on until midnight, only notification was on the day of arrival .And on the morning of leaving a power cut when trying to get ready and breakfast.

Disappointing

Location

Rooms are tired and are need of refurbishment. Stains all over the carpet, beds uncomfortable, hair in bath and food in the fridge that was there from prior guests. As we were only staying here for just one night we made do but in the evening I did mention these issues to staff however I almost seemed like an inconvenience for pointing out these issues to them and they were not at all interested. No apology or sympathy shown. Such a shame because this hotel has the potential to be great.

Everything was great EXCEPT we booked a late check out for 3pm but then on check out day we got an alarming message from the hotel talking about theft from our room. We rushed back and were told it was an automated message and the hotel had not received the information about late check out. This was odd since I’d received a confirmation and also had several texts from the hotel about it. Anyway, it was a horrible end to our stay and spoiled our experience on our last afternoon.

Quiet room and comfortable bed

Stains on carpet in bedroom Public area by reception was littered with empty bottles, toys, glasses and remnants of food from an event the night before. This was 11am on sunday and should have been cleaned away by that time. Shocking first impression.
