Sandman Signature Sheffield Quays Hotel

Great hotel, staff were all very friendly and room was excellent with nice view over canal, pool and gym were great, some building work going on while I was there around the leisure facilities, but very organised.

Extremely clean, and the facilities were excellent for the most part. The bar was a lovely spot for a drink too.

We weee very disappointed upon finding out that the swimming pool is shared access with people using the gym, not just with people staying at the hotel. We went down first thing Sunday morning and it was already fairly busy, including a couple of people hogging large sections of the pool in order to do lengths. The pool should be reserved for customers of the hotel only, as well as the sauna and steam room, or it should at least be advertised clearly that it is shared with others from the gym. We eventually left after barely 30 minutes as it has simply become too crowded. We only chose this hotel because it had a pool. We also found that the girl working as the pool attendant, with the black curly hair, was quite rude. We didn’t like her attitude.

All was good but found £15 extra for early check in a bit steep but all in all a good stay

Nice hotel, clean and in a good location. Good gym as part of leisure centre.

Breakfast wasn’t great and understaffed. Leisure centre changing rooms were a bit grotty. Not enough coffee or toilet rolls in room.
