Even thought its going through a refurbishment, it was a lovely clean and modern hotel. The restaurant was great and the breakfast was excellent

The room was quite spacious, as well as the bathroom with modern features. The bed was large and comfortable.
Pool and gym facilities were good, the sauna was great - large and efficient.
Staff was lovely. Location was good.
The room did not have a main light, which made everything quite difficult. During the day, I had to keep the curtains open just to be able to see properly. However, after coming out of the shower, this felt very uncomfortable. At night, the lighting was still insufficient — the LED light on the headboard was simply not adequate.
While the room and bathroom appeared modern, there were several details that were disappointing, such as the lack of conditioner, no moisturiser, cleanliness, and the overall poor lighting.
The pool facilities were nice, but there were only two seats available. I would expect a proper area to sit and relax. Without seating, it feels like you have to constantly move between the pool, sauna, and steam room, with no opportunity to unwind or even sit and read a book.
I was hoping to purchase breakfast on the day; however, when I went downstairs at 10am, the environment was extremely loud — absolutely unacceptable. I understand it was Easter Sunday, but having music practice for the service taking place so early and right next to the breakfast area was very disruptive. I found it quite disrespectful to have such a noisy atmosphere in what should be a relaxing dining space. As a result, I chose not to have breakfast at the hotel and went elsewhere instead.
