We liked the location, the view, the peaceful setting.
The fact that you REALLY need a car to get around. Their shuttle service is not very flexible and it costs $25-30 Euros to get there from the train station. We made it work, but it wasn't easy.

The people, employees, shuttle drivers, all very friendly and helpful. A cool unique experience somewhere different to stay.
We were a bit cold, look it’s pretty basic but I think that it’s clear from the description! So just keep expectations in check :) it’s a bit out of town but all the shuttle services worked well

Quirky property. At the top of the hill above Monteroso. Liked the grounds and the included breakfast. When the staff found out we had to leave super early on our second morning, they packed us a to go breakfast we did didn’t expect that!
The location was far from the village, the shuttle was limited. Our train arrived late so we had to pay a cab to get to the hotel, which was pretty pricey. The breakfast was great, but the dinner not so much. We avoided eating at the restaurant a second time.
