Extremely clean and plenty of literature of things to do in the area.nice touch ewan the owner offered randomly to take us to a local restaurant for a meal on 2 occasions..breakfast excellent and the business was a credit to the family.ewan was very welcoming as a guest.you wont be dissappointed if you stay here.

lovely stay right from when I pulled up Ewan came out to greet me he carried by bag up for me and showed me around.
loved having the option to use the guest kitchen also with great amenities.
breakfast was always lovely fresh and hot every morning.
comfy clean rooms, I felt safe which is important to me while travelling on my own, and very well looked after while staying here, I've already booked to stay here while I am working in the area.

The location was fairly close to the motorway and there was lots of easy parking . The property has amazing views and the guest lounge and kitchen were very comfortable and well equipped . Our room was spotless with a powerful shower …very welcome after a long journey ! Ewan was very welcoming and nothing was too much trouble. we had fantastic views of the countryside while we ate a scrumptious breakfast . Thank you much Ewan and we would love to stay again . The forest of Ae is minutes away and a great place to walk or cycle .

Beautiful guest house, on the outskirts of Thornhill with beautiful surroundings of the countryside. Our Host was fantastic, even dropping me to town on a moments notice. Our room was spacious with everything we needed and a very comfortable bed. En suite bathroom with power shower and we also had use of a shared kitchen. Breakfast was served in the dining room which overlooked the green fields, and both cooked breakfast and cereals, fruit, juices etc was available. A fresh pot of coffee was on the table each morning, .just a lovely start to the day. One of the best guest houses I've ever stayed at!!!
I wish I'd stayed in the summer as I could have enjoyed the gardens more
