    3rd visit to this hotel by wife and myself. Initially allocated Room 100 - bed far too small for a couple - got moved to Room 131 - King size bed - lot more room overall. Mattress was a bit lumpy - should be renewed. Bathroom sink far too small and tap far too big - one gets soaked whilst using the sink - not much room in sink to wash one's face or shave. Bathroom fan - not sure if it was working - reported it for possible repair. Shower works very well - hot water in the sink pulsates when tap is turned on - cold water has great pressure but one can easily be soaked when tap in use. Quality of coffee sachets in room is very poor and should be replaced by Nescafe Gold or something similar. The Twining tea bags - breakfast tea are adequately suitable for refreshment. All the staff in the hotel were very helpful at all times. We had two breakfasts and two evening meals during our stay and the food was all good and well prepared. One gets free parking if one enters their vehicle reg. no. into a gadget sitting on the reception desk. Biscuits in bedroom are "Biscoff" type which are not that great - should be replaced with packets of "Border Biscuits". The latter biscuits may be a bit dearer than "Biscoff" but the quality of biscuit is much better and is more attractive to the customers. My wife and I will no doubt return to this hotel in the future for a fourth occasion. I reported a leaking urinal twice within the gents toilets on the ground floor - lots of water all over the floor that needed to be mopped up to avoid a health and safety issue. Maintenance person should have been contacted after I reported the leaking urinal on the first occasion.

    Staff lovely, clean but dated room. Felt that price was elevated due to radio 2 weekend, especially as we were barely there. Breakfast: plenty of buffet options, cooked food, cereal, pastries and fruit. Tea and coffee in jugs but not too bad. Again, felt this was overpriced but enjoyed it all the same.
