    The accommodation was very clean and comfortable. The staff in the bar were very helpful and friendly. Unfortunately we were unable to try the food as the restaurant is closed on a Monday and Tuesday which were the nights we stayed and had not been informed of this when booked and only found out when we arrived to check in. Everything in Balloch is within walking distance

    We had booked our stay on a room only basis but had been advised through the website that breakfast was available to buy. This wasn't the case as the kitchen is closed on a Monday and Tuesday- the 2 nights of our stay. Bathroom was exceptionally tiny. Very basic, thin towels and paper sheets to stand on when you get out of the shower. They need to invest in better quality toilet roll, as the one they have DOES NOT dissolve and blocked our toilet twice. As no staff were on site we had to unblock it both times ourselves. The back of the site is a loading yard for deliveries which started at 6am, so no chance of a lie in. Far too expensive for basic accommodation.

    Cute inn, the rooms are spacious and clean. Under the rooms is a pub with good beers on the tap. Would recommend it
