The twin bed room was comfortable and warm which was welcomed as it was cold during our stay. All the basics were there and the tea / coffee facilities had plenty of options. The staff, as always, were friendly and welcoming, the buffet breakfast was exceptional and my nephew, on his first trip with me, loved the variety and choice available. The hotel itself is not far from the town centre and one of the main large supermarkets, the train station was also a short distance away.
Upon entering the room the floor just near the radiator on the left felt as if it was flexible and there might be a hole there when we stepped on it, there was an ironing board available but unfortunately no iron.

The bed was very very comfortable and the room was huge
Breakfast was buffet-style and the choice was above average
No restaurant open for evening meals
No bar open
Unfortunately the walls were paper-thin so heard everything from adjacent rooms.
