Robertson and Emma are welcoming, knowledgeable, congenial hosts. The house is clean, warm and comfortable and the freshly prepared breakfast using only locally sourced produce is superb. Directly across from Dumfries railway station and only a short walk into town, it was ideally situated for our short 2 night stay!
No issues.

The hosts were friendly and helpfully informative about the area. Breakfast was excellent, particularly the porridge.
The bed was slightly smaller than we were used to but we can’t really expect every guesthouse to provide a king size bed!
