Dumfries Villa

Location of the property was brilliant. The Garden was very nice and breakfast was great.

Bathroom a little small but this was explained why when we arrived by Colin.

Location was very good nice building -

a lot of dust everywhere and needs a new duvet cover as was ripped - check out time quite early would of liked another hour - all minor issues

The host Colin was wonderful and nothing was an issue. I needed to put my medication in a fridge and ice packs in a freezer. I didn't realise when I booked that there wasn't a little fridge in my room. Colin offered to bring a little fridge to my room, but then offered to put my freezer packs and medication in his own fridge. My room was #4 looking out onto the street which was very quiet looking out onto a lovely garden. I asked Colin if it was ok to open the window and that was not a problem. Check-in was good except I kept interrupting Collin's lunch a couple of times asking a question.....sorry Collin. The room was large and very conformable with big old fashioned windows.

The only fault I had with the accommodation was that the bathroom was very tiny. There was no room in the bathroom to dry myself so I had to close the curtains and dry off in the bedroom. I certainly would stay again.

Location was central, Idea for our visit, host and waitress very welcoming and friendly

My partner has back issues so sprung mattress caused her some discomfort,
