Wonderful Stay in Dumfries
Authentic architectural style and use of local materials. The bed and breakfast layout makes my stay like home. Very clever key arrangement to make access very convenient and easy to go in and out at anytime. My friend and I had the entire front dining room to enjoy the tranquility in the beautiful room for our breakfast. Two separate bathrooms for two of us in a twin room which was fantastic! Comfortable stay. Clean. Good wifi. Good provision of water and drinks. Fantastic selection of tea. Very good freshly cooked breakfast. It has all I need. The host is very friendly and thoughtful. They have offered us restaurant recommandations and sightseeing advices which was immensely helpful. Well balanced in being attentive to our needs and leaving us to our own privacy.
Nothing really. All good for my stay. I slept well like a baby. If I have to be picky - then adding an inset mesh curtain will make the room perfect although I have not suffered from any flies or mosquitos as I drew the curtain down before I switched the lights on at night.

Warm welcome from Sally and Ian. Spotlessly clean. Vegetarian options for breakfast. Off-road parking at house. Excellent location for our purposes that weekend.

Great place to stay!
The location was great, just four minutes (walking) to the train station and less than ten minutes to downtown. We were greeted by our hosts, Sally and Ian, and immediately felt at home. What a charming couple. The room was comfortable and cheery, very clean, and we loved the chair by the window. Breakfasts were very good and very fresh and we enjoyed them immensely. Sally's recommendations on things to see and do were spot on and well suited to our visit.

Sally and Ian made Lindean Guest House feel like a home away from home
Sally and Ian were exceptional hosts. They welcomed us like family members and made us feel at home throughout our visit. The breakfast was tasty and nutritious, and was so filling that we were able to skip lunch and spend more time sightseeing. Lindean Guest House was immaculately presented and our room was very comfortable. Sally and Ian went the "extra mile" throughout our stay to make our experience first class.

Lindean is welcoming and peaceful and would 100% recommend staying here
Lindean Guest House was a short walk from the train station and a short walk from there to the town centre. The breakfast choices covered all nutritional requirements and was delicious! The room was comfortable and had lots of extras to make us feel welcome. We had a selection of teas, coffee and biscuits. Extra toiletries were available if required. The rooms were immaculate and the bed was very comfortable. Our hosts Ian and Sally were very attentive yet also discreet. They gave us great suggestions of what to see and do in the area.
Nothing, we were very pleased.
