Nice hotel let down by very poor attention to routine maintenance.

Nice big comfortable room. Excellent Indian food at dinner.

Difficult to find in the dark , then hard to find car park and entrance. Keycard for door to room didn't work. Heating not working in our room. TV didn't work. Bedside lights totally inadequate for reading. Wifi didn't work.

If you are a couple staying you might need ear plugs as it might get noisy at night

The room we had on the 2nd floor had a nice view

We could hear the people in the room next door talking and having sex very clearly at times during the evening and night if I had a child with me this would not be acceptable at all and there was a door leading to the room next door but there was just a board between them when I book a room I expect to not have a room which leads to another one boarded up by a sheet of wood as a couple we should of had a room with no doors leading to other room in them why did we get these family or group rooms when we were just a couple it's just not good at all this was our first time staying in one of these hotels if we do decide to book another room I'm going to ask to not be put in a family or group room

We enjoyed staying at the hotel it was near to venue where we wanted to be the hotel staff were very helpful and friendly and would have done anything for us. Very accommodating and welcoming

our heating in room did not seem to be working though on the Friday night we called for the porter. The room was really cold 🥶 could not fix it gave us a small heater

No internet access, was fixed next day but I was leaving. Staff were very helpful and suggested another room but it was too late to be changing rooms late at night. For the price I paid wasn’t good value - the price algorithms weren’t working for me on this occasion as I was booking last minute. Room not that warm either although there was an oil filled portable heater in the room.

Basically every thing. Room was clean and quiet. We had our evening meal and breakfast in the restaurant both were excellent. We are customers that really DO intend returning especially as this was our third stay here. All your staff that we interacted with were courteous and polite as was the painting contractor working in our corridor.

Comfortable and in an ideal location for our needs.

Have stayed several times before. Great location,in the grounds of the old Crichton Royal Hospital. My home town,ideal for exploring the area. Fantastically spacious room,with everything you would need. Great shower,exceptional products(shame body wash pump in shower didn’t work) Ample free parking a bonus.

Breakfast poor Selection of options not very appetising…hot offerings very greasy . Disliked shared marmalade,chocolate spread etc jars..not everyone will have washed hands or sanitised prior to coming into restaurant. Large open bowls of yogurt disliked for same reason..people with long hair leaning over them. A large open bowl of apricot jam…. All not acceptable..need to consider individual yogurts and small jars of jam,marmalade etc. Room and set large tables could have been cleaner.

Good hotel but staff have little awareness of disability issues

Good location. Very good breakfast. Comfortable room. Cleanliness appeared good.

The lift was out of action again. My husband is on home dialysis and therefore we had a lot of heavy and bulky medical equipment. We were allocated a room on the second floor and I was told we could not be moved to a lower floor. I located the luggage trolley (with a flat tyre) and had to ask reception if I could have assistance. Reception did call the maintenance man who was extremely helpful and helped move stuff up two floors. There is only one lift and no service lift. The hotel contacted us prior to arrival about booking dinner, etc, but failed to mention the lift was out of action. . There appeared to be no staff awareness of disability and ill health issues.

Far too expensive B&B We stayed 4 nights in the hotel for dinner, every night things we requested from the menu, they did not have. Also red wine at £12.40 a grass is a joke.

Good parking options, clean spaces, comfortable room and very friendly helpful staff. Asked reception for a fan and this was promptly delivered to the room. Great parking options. Restaurant on site with nice food too. Plenty of breakfast options with fresh fruit, hot food, pastries and cereals. Evening meal was also nice with good options to choose from.

We had the Half board option so could have done with info on what’s included etc regarding drinks & courses as this wasn’t explained anywhere. Had to ask the waiter in the restaurant to explain further. Also, the Phone didn’t work in the room so had to go to reception for my requirements but the staff were great and faultless. Not enough sockets near the bed, only one on each side of each single bed which the lamps plugged in to.

The location really sells this hotel. The grounds are stunning and we spent a good hour exploring but we definitely could have been out longer, there was so much to see. The room was immaculate. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Very quiet location despite being such a big hotel we didn't hear people walking around. Restaurant was good. Kids ate free!

Ullapool is well worth a visit and would recommend staying at the Caledonian Hotel

Tastefully modernised and comfortable. Our room faced the front and the views of the harbour were excellent. The room was clean with good facilities, plus a comfy bed. There was a wide choice of tasty food in the restaurant and the prices were good. The staff in the restaurant, bar and cafe were helpful and friendly, even the dog had no complaints. Lastly, there is a large carpark at the hotel with Tesco within walking distance if you forget yoir toothbrush

There is no lift in the building and staying on the 2nd floor made us reluctant to nip out frequently

Exccellent venue and the food at dinner was great.

The Receptionist was very helpful and very cheerfull. The dining room staff were very helpful, however did seem pushed when the Ross County football team arrived and were very demanding! The front of house staff were amazing.

Not a lot to be jonest

Wrong room initially,got "upgraded" to executive suite but as hubby is disabled he struggled to get to room.disabled space shut off for most of our stay.food was average but no steaks available all week.no atmosphere in bar.outside seating had no parasols so too hot to sit for long.air con was broken on our last night so got no sleep.we would not recommend it to anyone else with a disability.and staff not overly helpful.

We booked a disabled room and it didn't have a walk in shower!! How is that possible!! We were given an alternative room with a passable shower, but awkward to get in to. When we left they tried to charge us more than we had paid on booking..what a cheek!

Lovely location in the park and easy to get bus into the town. Good breakfast and comfy bed. Friendly and welcoming staff.

The room 15 was rather dark. One day the tea tray wasn’t refreshed, no clean cups and sink not cleaned. We were told that new management has reduced time given to do the work. This has an adverse impact on customer experience.
