I had room 5, which is a very comfortable room, and a good size. Single bed, ensuite shower, toilet, hand basin, all the facilities you could need, including a remote-controlled TV and iron/ironing board & hairdryer. It is very well equipped and well located. Approx 15 minute walk to town, 5 minute drive to the nearest free parking. 5 minute walk to the nearest supermarket if you forget your phone charger, or anything else.
Breakfast, which is served next door in the Caledonian Hotel, had a lovely choice available, both cooked, cereal, yoghurt, and lots to choose from. Toast, teas, coffees. I have gluten & dairy free requirements, so I brought my own bread, which they were very careful to toast away from regular bread.
No reception, which could be done in person via the Caledonian Hotel next door, had I known. Not an issue, just unexpected. I would, however, stay here again!

We booked a family room, expecting a small space - it was a good size with good facilities. They catered for vegetarians and vegans at breakfast.
The staff were all very welcoming and friendly.
Everything was clean from the room to the crockery/cutlery.
There was nothing not to like, other than the room with the single beds didn't have any bedside/reading lighting.

Great location, clean and heated apartament. Quite neightborhood. Typical but tasty english breakfast
It could be nice, if any continental breakfast were offered.

Reasonably priced. Comfortable bed and a quiet location. Good selection for breakfast.
Please make it clear that the latest check in time is 9pm. I looked back at my booking confirmation and it did not say anything about the latest check-in time is 9pm, or that you can check-in after 9pm if agreed before arrival. Also, I did not see a single member of staff while I was there so I did not know what to do when I checked out.
