Very nice property and very helpful staff

Breakfast was not an issue as it was self catering but the staff were very accommodating

The first room I was in was very small but the proprietor moved me to a much better room at the same price

Everything you need is in the room.

I had accidentally booked a single night room (great for hikers passing through). Peter sorted me out with a larger room more suitable for my longer stay. Basic essentials provided. Having a kitchenette in the room was super useful. The WC with toilet, basin and shower gave ample room. Towels and a TV provided. The beds have their own reading lights and power sockets beside them. Everything was nice and clean. It was handy having Aldi right across the road and the accommodation being on a bus route into town. I had a comfortable stay.

I could have done with a pair of oven gloves for getting cooked stuff out of the microwave. I chose not to use the air fryer.

Location was a walk from the centre. Price was cheap. Had all essential facilities.

No mirror near a plug. No wine glasses. No hand towel. Bed could have been comfier.

Was building works getting done upgrades and the likes..but didn't spoil our weekend @ for sure .was made aware of this before hand..wee were out most of the time pool competition..aldi and places to eat across the road superb location for my group .

Fantastic accomodation

Clean room, comfy bed, great location and plenty of space to park my car. The room has all you need for a nice stay, also good internet connection. I also had the chance to meet Peter, nice and friendly guy. I will repeat for sure.

Perfect for a single traveller

I had my own little “cabin” with own bathroom, wi-fi, fridge freezer, microwave and Freeview TV. Plenty big enough for what I needed which was to use as a base in the evenings after days out and very reasonably priced

Impressive for Price

Much more than I was expecting for the price I paid. Room came with air fryer, kettle and microwave for self catering. Comfy bed, lovely bathroom and was definitely warm enough!

Exactly what I paid for 1st night, spoke to the owner who is a character to say the very least. Ended up booking bigger room for the rest of my stay with more people, Peter really does go above and beyond to make sure your stay is what you need. Highly recommended!! Bring your own shampoo as the complimentary wasn't to my liking, but I am fussy.

Very little to be honest apart from the price. The owner is a decent guy

Cramped horrible room. All the building work going on in other buildings which gave the place a really awful look. Someone getting in to the hotel at 2am to pick a fight with a resident

Townhouse --- now and shortly.

Handy location , easy to find ( opposite Aldi ). As a retired lorry driver I was perfectly happy to sleep in a lorry. Only being there at night I just needed a bed, a shower and a toilet. For fifty pounds a night it was all I needed.

Not a problem with myself but some people require more space and may have wanted a third room to relax in. That being said Peter showed me the work now taking place with the hotel buildings. Before long there will be plenty of multi room accommodation available and it will be really tip top.

Peter was lovely, friendly and chatty, I got the impression nothing would be too much trouble. Late check in accommodated no problems. I think I got the last available room so probably the smallest, it was clean, comfortable and still had everything in it I needed. Thank you
