We were made welcome as soon as we entered the building. The Staff were very helpful and knowledgeable of the area. The room was very comfortable and well kitted out with plenty of milk for a much needed brew.
There wasn't anything to dislike.

Warm and friendly welcome on arrival. Nicely decorated, cosy and spotless room. Twin room for my son and myself, comfortable beds. Breakfast in the morning was cooked freshly (pre ordered the day before with time you'd like it to be ready for also taken into account, great idea) and you can also help yourself to a good selection of continental breakfast items. Again, the hosts were very friendly and nothing was too much trouble. Lovely hotel, lovely people and very handy and central. We had travelled by train so a nice 15 minute walk from station but there is also a bus service from station right to the hotel. First time I've visited Dumfries and I will come back and will definitely stay here again. Hidden gem. Thanks for your hospitality and hopefully see you again soon.
