Ok for one nights, but AVOID with large luggage
Everything is newly refurbished, modern and clean. Showers have shower gel provided, and there are hairdryers in the female bathroom. Each bed has a couple of sockets and a light. There is a coin-operated laundry, which is handy.
The owner will surely react with aggressive comments, so here is my DISCLAIMER: yes, I was aware of most of these things in advance, BUT that's not the point of my criticism! I am posting these comments as improvement suggestions which would make your guests happier. - the check-in: reception was supposed to be open until 23 o'clock on Saturday. I arrived at 21.30; however, there was nobody. After I rang the bell a couple of times, there was an annoyed male voice from the speaker that told me to check my email with self check-in instructions. I was not aware of any email, as it arrived just about a couple of hours before when I was on a flight. Luckily, my phone had a few per cent of battery left, so I managed. But it could be difficult for someone without internet access! - oh, the triple bunks, the plague of Edinburgh...! You can only sit on the top one, but you are assigned a specific bed number, so you cannot choose. Luckily, I got the middle one, because the lower one is truly horrible. - a female dorm would be nice. I ended up in a dorm with 5 men, which made me feel quite uncomfortable. If keeping mixed dorms, at least curtains would be nice. The beds are uncomfortably close to each other. - the rooms are tiny! There's nothing except the beds, not even a hook for your jacket. Luckily, I was not travelling with big luggage this time, as there was absolutely no space for it. I barely found a tiny spot for my boots. - the lockers are OUTSIDE in the corridor, and mine was locked/already occupied? Also, they are tiny, barely enough for a daypack. You cannot fit a suitcase or a big backpack inside. Even with a winter coat and winter boots, it would be challenging.

Amazing!
This place is amazing! I can't believe how clean and simple to use it is for the price! The owners are really nice and helpful and I was able to park my LWB VW van no problem! Its FAB!

Not enough space in the rooms
The hostel is really close to the city center. I think if you are a budget traveler is a good option
I stayed in the dormitory with 12 beds The room is really crowded and the beds are too close to each other, is not even possible to sit on it (I think this is possible only on the top one). The lowest bed is basically on the floor, so you sleep with people's shoes in the face. It could have been only 1 stair to reach the middle and the top bed, but they put 2 stairs, one for each; in that way takes out even more space from the lower bed. Moreover, the place offers only such small lockers, which doesn't make sense to me since it is a backpackers hostel.
