Highly recommend this property, it is in a great location close to Berchtesgaden, and State Park.
The entire staff was very welcoming and inviting.
Especially, the lady manager in the morning at breakfast. She even gave our standard poodle Lilly extra loving!

Great stay at friendly hotel
We had a great stay at this nice, cozy hotel. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, and the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful throughout our visit. The location is excellent. Will return with children for sure. So much to explore in the near. Highly recommended!

A beautiful hotel with gorgeous decor and surrounding scenery.
The views and scenery surrounding the hotel are beautiful! The rooms are large, super clean, and have a nice balcony overlooking the village. The breakfast was fabulous!!
The housekeepers were in a big hurry for us to leave before 11:00 check out time. They used their key to barge into the room at 10:50 when I was still in the bathroom.

Amazing breakfast, lots of choices and tasted delicious. Unlimited amount of food. Warm, spacious and clean rooms. Good power shower.

1 restaurant within walking distance for evening meal. Whilst it was delicious and we ate there 3 evenings in a row, no other restaurant open nearby within safe walking distance at night . But that was ok, as the nearby restaurant was so good.

This hotel is situated on the very calm place with the good view from the balcony.The room is cute and clean, you have everything that you need inside it.The staff of this hotel are very friendly people, they are happy to help you every time when you need.

The staff was amazing, we were treated very well, and on the morning of my wife's birthday they had a card and chocolate on our table at breakfast; they also brought us wine to prost. They answered all of our questions and helped us find things to to do. It was the best experience I've had yet staying in a hotel.

Very friendly staff, views, pet friendly, good location. All in all, we will definitely be back once coronavirus is under control which hopefully will be in May again.
It had nothing to do with the hotel but unfortunately, 1 day into a 4-day stay and Berchtesgaden Area was put into lockdown because of Coronavirus and we had to leave the hotel but again this is not the Hotels problem, the hotel was very professional during this time.

Perfect place to discover the Berchtesgaden area and all his beauty.
This place has awesome views on the mountains, rent an electric bike to discover the environment, the breakfast gives you enough diversity in food, the hosts are extremally friendly and supportive.
We did a hike to the Eagles Nest, recommended to do. It's not an easy hike but with the views on your way up it's more than worthily to do.
The room is spacy enough for two persons, from your balcony great views over the mountains. This, including the friendly staff it's a place for us to go back.
Due to Covid-19 some hospitality is changed, so breakfast will be served at your table instead of a buffet breakfast. Even though it's less interactive it's for our own safety which was perfect arranged.

Toller Kurzaufenthalt in Berchtesgaden
Tolles, kleines, familiengeführtes Hotel in top Lage. Moderne Ausstattung in alpinem Flair. Aussicht auf den Watzmann. Frühstücksbuffet mit reichlich Auswahl. Für jeden etwas dabei.
Zimmerausstattung modern, tolles Bad mit Dusche. Bockspringbett war ok.
Die Kissen waren so bauschig, viel zu hoch zum Schlafen.

Watzmann schaut beim Frühstück zu
Wir haben sehr kurzfristig gebucht und noch ein Doppelzimmer bekommen. Das Hotel ist optisch sehr schön, viel Holz, freundlich und hell. Unser Zimmer hatte eine angemessene Größe, das Bad eher klein. Zum Zimmer gehörte eine kleine Nische mit Polsterbank, wahrscheinlich für einen Hund, denn dieses Hotel bietet Aufenthalt für Gäste mit Hunden an.....
Die Betten waren gut, die Einrichtung modern und gepflegt. Der Balkon war direkt über dem Eingangsbereich, zur Straße.
Gutes und umfangreiches Frühstück, auf Wunsch werden Rühr- oder Spiegeleier frisch zubereitet.
Der Frühstücksraum hat eine schöne Aussicht.
Das Personal war freundlich und motiviert.
Der Schrank im Zimmer hat nur eine Schiebetür, heißt eine Seite ist immer offen, es gibt keine Regalböden, nur Kleiderstange. Für uns war es kein Problem, da wir nur eine Übernachtung hatten, für einen längeren Aufenthalt könnte es ein wenig schwierig werden, die Kleidung zu organisieren.
Das Haus ist etwas hellhörig!
Wer keine Hunde mag, sollte sich im Klaren sein, dass hier Gäste mit Vierbeinern willkommen sind.

⭐ Bewertung Aufenthalt vom 02.01. bis 06.01.2026
Unser Aufenthalt im Alpinhotel Berchtesgaden war insgesamt sehr schön und absolut empfehlenswert.
Wir sind außerhalb der regulären Check-in-Zeiten angereist, hatten dies jedoch im Vorfeld telefonisch angekündigt. Die Beratung und Organisation für den späten Check-in waren hervorragend – sehr freundlich, informativ und entgegenkommend. Dafür schon einmal ein großes Lob.
Gebucht hatten wir ursprünglich Zimmer 203 mit Berg- bzw. Panoramablick. Beim Empfang erhielten wir allerdings den Schlüssel für Zimmer 207, von dem wir auch ausgingen, dass es dem gebuchten Zimmer entspricht. Da wir spät abends und im Dunkeln angekommen sind, fiel uns zunächst nichts auf.
Am nächsten Morgen stellten wir jedoch fest, dass unser Zimmer keinen Panoramablick hatte, sondern auf eine Straße hinausging. Offenbar wurden die Zimmerschlüssel am Vorabend vertauscht.
Wir haben diese Situation zunächst so hingenommen und unseren Aufenthalt dennoch sehr genossen. Das gesamte Personal war während der ganzen Zeit hervorragend: zuvorkommend, höflich, hilfsbereit und stets beratungsbereit. Wir haben unsere Abende gemütlich im Hotel verbracht, Getränke genossen und uns rundum wohlgefühlt.
Am Abreisetag haben wir die Chefin, Alexandra, auf das Missverständnis mit dem Zimmer aufmerksam gemacht. Ihre Reaktion war absolut vorbildlich: Sie kam uns sehr großzügig entgegen und übernahm sämtliche Getränke und Konsumationen während unseres Aufenthalts. Das war eine großartige und sehr faire Art der Wiedergutmachung – wirklich eine Topleistung.
Damit war für uns alles wieder ins Reine gebracht. Das Hotel, die Gegend und die angebotenen Möglichkeiten sind einfach klasse: viele Ausflugsziele, tolle Natur, Rodeln, Schlittenfahren und zahlreiche Sehenswürdigkeiten in der Umgebung.
👉 Fazit:
Ein sehr schönes Hotel in einer tollen Region mit ausgezeichnetem Personal und einer Chefin, die Service wirklich lebt. Wir können das Hotel mit bestem Gewissen weiterempfehlen.
