Fabulous!!!

Management/Staff: Superb! The biggest praise and thanks has to go directly to Susanne, the owner whose warmth and kindness made us feel so welcome right from the start. We didn't have much interaction with other staff but we were always greeted with a big smile and a warm 'Hallo' when we did. Location: Perfect! The guesthouse is located in the idyllic village of Oberau, just 10mins drive from Berchtesgaden. This proved to be a bonus as there was very little noise to spoil the stunning surroundings. The view from the guesthouse is simply awesome. For exploring, we were delighted to discover all of the "must see" sites, including the Eagles Nest (Kehlsteinhaus) and Konigsee were all within 15mins drive - super convenient. Rooms: Great! Our room was a good size with an ensuite bathroom and balcony. Every inch of the room was spotless and it felt warm and cosy. Food: Good. Breakfast only. A fairly simple but good selection of Continental breakfast items provided. Everything was super fresh and there was probably enough choice to suit most tastes.

We struggled to really get comfortable with the pillows provided as they were too flimsy and didn't offer much, if any support. A minor change to better quality pillows would be a major improvement. I'd stress though that this is literally the only criticism we had.

A GREAT PLACE TO STAY AND TO DO THINGS AROUND THE PLACES

EVERYTHING WAS FANTASTIC. THE SIZE OF THE ROOM AND THE COMFORT. SUZAANE LEO WAS GREAT TOO AND FULL OF INFORMATION. A NICE TOUCH OF HOMEMADE JAMS AND KUGELHOFP AND WINDE THANK YOU VERY MUCH.

Perfect stay with the best host!

Suzanne was so enthusiastic and friendly - she was amazing! Our room had a beautiful view over towards the mountains. There is a communal fridge with soft drinks/beers in which is based on an honesty system where you pay at the end of your stay, this was perfect for us and was great to come back after a long day out and be able to sit on the balcony admiring the view with a cold locally brewed beer! Lovely breakfast with lots to choose from.

Conveniently located less than ten minutes from The Eagle's Nest parking lot. Also very close to Salzburg. Spectacular view from the balcony and from the breakfast room. Excellent breakfast spread, too. The room was spacious and very clean and the hostess was friendly and supplied helpful information. We really enjoyed our stay.

Rundum ein wunderschöner Aufenthalt, wir würden die Unterkunft jederzeit wieder wählen!

Wir wurden sehr nett und herzlich von Susanne empfangen. Die Zimmer sind bestens ausgestattet, auch, dass ein Kühlschrank mit Kühlfach vorhanden ist, ist sehr praktisch. Die Unterkunft ist ruhig gelegen mit wunderschönem Blick auf die Berge. Wenn man etwas braucht, ist Susanne sofort zur Stelle. Auch das Frühstück ist sehr vielfältig und ausgewogen.

Es gibt nichts zu bemängeln.

Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt bei Familie Leo.

Das Frühstück war ausgezeichnet. Jeden Tag gab es frisches Obst, sehr gute Auswahl an Aufschnitt und Käse von Sehr guter Qualität . Die Gastgeberin Frau Leo war super , man hatte das Gefühl man kennt sich schon lange. Das Zimmer hatte eine tolle Aussicht auf die Berge .

Traumhafter Kurzurlaub

Die Gastgeberin, Susi, ist super sympathisch, überaus freundlich und hilfsbereit. Haben uns auf Anhieb sehr wohl gefühlt, kommen sehr gerne wieder! Gutes Frühstück, Kaffee und Tee umsonst auf dem Flur, Badewanne, Balkon mit Bergblick, WLAN, kleiner Kühlschrank auf dem Zimmer, Mikrowelle auf dem Flur, freundliche Gastgeberin
