Actually staying at their sister Hotel, Hotel Alpina Ros. This is a terrific hotel, they have been most accommodating and we couldn’t be happier. Terrific room in their “apartment” and a tremendous morning breckfast.

This is a budget friendly hotel but is let down by poor staff which were unfriendly, unwelcoming and rude at times. The receptionist argued with us upon checkin and failed to tell us about a major event (Oktoberfest) that was being held in Berchestegarden, just a few minutes walk from the hotel. The hotel refused to let us have coffee because "our check in was in three hours time". The lobby area could use better care with guests and had no access to water, tea or coffee. Location is about 25 minutes walk into town but not too bad if you're trying to see beautiful Berchestegarden. Breakfast was decent and rooms were basic but as advertised.

The breakfast quality was excellent and the waitresses wore traditional dress, reception was very helpful, the room was lovely although a little small but did have tea & coffee making facilities and a balcony from which we could see the eagles nest ( when the clouds cleared ) so all in all fabulous place 2 minutes drive from town which was perfect for us.

This s one of the nicest Bed and Breakfast places Ive stayed at In Germany. Nice renovations in 2020 gives this place a nice warm and charming feel. Nice Breakfast and great location. No real negatives except room 28 is close to a road and with the windows open can be noisy. Nice bathroom and comfortsble bed and pillow.

We checked in late and at first I was unsure what to do in order to get in. I called the property and the lady who was very nice let me know there was an envelope waiting for me at the front door which I overlooked. Once inside the stay was great… also above average breakfast included!

We stayed in the hotel for only one night. It’s is just on the outskirts of the main town but a nice walk along the river. I would suggest having a car as the main market square is quite a walk and all uphill. The hotel itself is relatively small with simple facilities. It’s is reasonably decorated and very clean. Unfortunately the hotel did not serve breakfast but directed us to the sister hotel up the road for our breakfast ( this was included in the rate). We weren’t keen on having to go to a different hotel for breakfast and decided not to have any. The beds were quite comfy but only one pillow and the hotel would not allow us any extra. Rooms are a good size. Communal areas are decorated basic. I would recommend for a one night but we would most likely book somewhere else if we can’t back to the area in the future.

We really loved it here. Although only able to be here one night, we regretted not staying longer. We were celebrating our honeymoon and they helped make this a special visit, including rose pedals and towel swans on our bed, very special for sure, and on our overall trip, that stood out as a small hotel who took care to do something unique for us. Excellent breakfast, clean, friendly and would highly recommend.

This is a perfect spot to enjoy the Alpine scenery. Very close to The Eagles Nest and right down the street from The Salt Mine. This area is beautiful. The hotel is lovely. Very clean, quiet, and the room is comfortable. We woke up to the sounds of birds chirping. Very relaxing!
