We loved this property. Our rooms were spacious, bathrooms were nice and clean and the breakfast were good. The restaurant is only open for breakfast, which is included, and dinner from 6 - 8. We were pleasantly surprised by the food in the restaurant. We went there the first night because of convenience and weren't expecting much. Our meals turned out to be really good so we dined there once more during our stay. The hotel is about a 40-minute walk from the downtown area, but there is a bus. It only come once an hour though. They are also very strict about check-in time. We arrived just a bit early and they didn't even want to talk to us. Told us to come back at 2. The hotel caters mostly to German-speaking clientele. That being said, English is spoken. In fact, many of the employees don't even speak German as they come from many different countries. At first we were given a room at the back of the hotel with only a view of a hill. No other choice because they were fully booked. They next day they kindly changed our room to one with a stunning view of the mountains. That was really nice of them.

It seems that this hotels caters to groups. The breakfast was only mediocre. The rolls did not seem to be fresh. Parking lot was full and hard to find a parking place. However the rooms are clean and the view wonderful. The Wifi was only available in the lobby.

The hotel was located so it was a short drive to Berchtesgaden or Salzburg. Great view from the room. Nice folks at the desk were helpful. Good breakfast. Small but clean and comfortable room. Good value.

For the money this was a good hotel, about two miles from the town center. The price was great. Check in was OK, the lady behind the counter seemed curt. Internet was non existent, only at the lobby but very poor. Parking was free, Breakfast was pretty standard. Saying all that, the price was so low compared to other places it was much better than I expected.

Wonderful location on the outskirts of the town. Beautiful views of the mountains from the room balcony. Large comfortable room that was extremely clean.Parking right next to the hotel. Nice size elevator/lift to the rooms. Great breakfast. Everyone I needed to communicated with while I was there spoke English well. The price of the room was great for the value. This will be my new hotel when I return to the area.

Nothing to write home about. Room is okay but a bit on small side. Service at restaraunt is slow. Swimming pool wasnt really very good. Kids play structure is minimal.

Clean room with a nice view. Front desk staff very helpful with local directions and other tourist information. Especially liked the dining room that honored WWI and WWII veterans with plaques and photos. Food was good too!
