+ The apartment was clean and spacious. + The mattresses were comfortable. + Friendly hosts. + Free parking right at the accommodation. + The swimming pool is a godsend when it's 30+ degrees Celsius out there. + The views from the street this accommodation is situated are breathtaking. 😍 Definitely recommendable to visit the goats at the neighbours, or if you're lucky you'll even see the cows up close further up the street. + The apartment is nearby places like the bus station where you can take the buses to the Kehlsteinhaus, the Königssee, and Salzburg.

- The curtains are merely there for decoration, they honestly block the daylight about as well as a tea bag blocks running water. So if you're the kind of sleeper that's sensitive to daylight, better bring yourself a sleep mask. - They have wifi, it works well, but it's only on from 7 in the morning until around 11 in the evening. For outside of those hours, better have yourself a good mobile internet plan. - A heatwave started breaking out during our stay. Nice weather for the swimming pool, but even with the windows and doors closed, it warms up pretty quickly in this apartment. That this place doesn't come with airconditioning is one thing, but there wasn't even a fan (truth to be told, I also haven't asked for one as I didn't want to come across as being rude). - Probably in part due to the warm weather, there were a lot of bugs. But the windows unfortunately didn't have any bug screens on, so opening them up meant guaranteed bugs inside. Keeping the windows closed however meant you were in a bit of a sauna. Pick whatever battle you prefer wisely. - The 2 rubbish bins in the kitchen were quite small, thus filling up pretty quickly. Maybe not so much a problem when you're eating out most of your stay here, but if you prefer to do some more home cooking, better bring yourself a rubbish bag or two, because there weren't any extra in the apartment. - The sponge was sufficient to do the dish wash with, but I was missing a dishcloth to dry off the kitchen counter with. And maybe we didn't look in the right places, but we missed some all purpose cleaner to keep the kitchen as clean as possible wouldn't be an unnecessary luxury.

Wir hatten einen sehr schönen Aufenthalt in der Pension Rennlehen. Uns hat es an nichts gefehlt und Unterkunft war sehr sauber! Die Besitzer sind super freundlich und sehr flexibel. Wir konnten problemlos eher anreisen und den Pool am Abreisetag noch nutzen. Die Lage ist zwar etwas oberhalb von Berchtesgarden aber schnell und günstig erreichbar mit dem Watzmobil, solange man am Vortag reserviert hat. Das Grundstück ist relativ groß und es gibt wirklich viele Möglichkeiten um auch vor Ort einen schönen Tag zu verbringen (Tischtennis, Volleyball, Pool, Ziegen, Sauna, kleiner Fitnessraum). Es gibt zusätzlich zur Küche im Zimmer eine Gästeküche mit einem Essensraum, die den Anwohnern frei zur Verfügung gestellt wird. Alles was das Herz begehrt!! Das Highlight war unser Balkon mit Bergblick auf dem wir jeden morgen gemütlich gefrühstückt und den Abend ausklingen lassen haben. Alles in allem sehr liebe Familie! Die Lage, die Ruhe, der Ausblick Die Gastgeber waren ausgesprochen freundlich! Die Unterkunft war sehr sauber und es war alles da, was das Herz begehrt.

Wenn es noch ( wie anscheinend früher) ein Frühstücktsangebot gegeben hätte, das wär sensationell gewesen. Aber das ist jammern auf hohem Niveau

Bed was confortable , nice view , close to all touristic points that we wanted to see. Feeling of freedom

I didn t liked that was no heat in the beginning but they arranged that for us so was ok.
