Vastly overpriced for the quality and location of the stay.

The light by the bed was broken. There is no WiFi in the rooms. The train line is fifty feet from the rooms. They run until midnight and start at 6am. The rooms are basic to the point of having no comfort. You could do better for the amount they charge in any other location.

Really good deal overall

The location is really close to the Berchatsgaden hbf. Perfect for traveling with public transportation. Staff are really really nice :) The breakfast buffet was also very nice.

The pillow is bit too soft. I didn’t ask reception for any changes since I only stayed for two nights.

Cute guest house to use as a hub to explore and have adventures in the area.

We had a small room that was only good to sleep in after a long day of exploring the region. If I were to do it again I would pick a larger room.

A great place to stay with an excellent breakfast

The rooms and property were well kept and very clean. The heated floor in the bathroom was a nice touch.

It was very close to the railway but the trains were very quiet when they went by so we hardly even noticed

Lovely stay in a beautiful place

Host was lovely,room was nice,bathroom very good excellent shower,outside seating with spare blankets , location was very good and free local bus tickets to attractions

Pillows had no guts,no wifi ( which was stated i just didnt read it) ,the extra cable channels didnt work and no english channels, i thought we were getting a balcony but that could be my mistake anyway outdoor seating was very nice

Nice, easy, clean and friendly!

It was close to the mountains and the breakfast area was nice. The internet was nonexistent upstairs due to German Telekom issues but I was able to work in the breakfast room after breakfast ended.

There was no internet but I believe that’s partly due to German telekom and really not the hotel’s fault.

Great but not perfect, sorry we were late, but a more friendly welcome would have been appreciated

Breakfast was great, check in was swift, room clean and shower hot and powerfull

We were late as weather and traffic was bad, as check in was a tight window of time did not feel too welcome. Location was fine, but involved a walk along a dark track as there was no restaurant in the accommodation, railway runs right outside, trains did not run all night but pretty early/late and because of location of station they sound their horn every time they pass

I had a great stay here and the staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful.

I loved how close the property was to the town Centre. Made it really easy to catch the bus for various day trips. Having the guest card was also very handy!

I would have liked there to be wifi to use.

We arrive later in the evening but we found key and all the information needed on an envelope at the entrance. Clean room, friendly staff and very good brekfast.

Room was nice though small, but we had a nice little balcony that we could use when the weather was nice. Bed was comfortable, bathroom was a bit small but it was clean and the shower was nice. Breakfast was a nice selection of breads, meats and cheese and staff were buzzing around regularly replenishing stocks

Family welcoming stay!

We loved the Guest house, beautiful friendly family running the hotel. Lovely warm & welcoming. Breakfast was perfect, location great except for one way rd bc of roadworks. We loved staying and would again. Would choose balcony room next time.

A delightful little hotel located in beautiful hills of Southern Germany, I would stay here again!

Friendly staff, the breakfast was delightful and also inexpensive and the scenery cannot be beaten.

It was a fairly warm day and evening and a small fan in the room would have been nice, although I didn't ask for one.

good value to stay over night economically

they have road construction which make access to the hotel very difficult. if you don’t want to detour for another 20 mins walks, you have to walk along the railway line and you figure it out how to by yourself. it’s a bit dangerous and avoid it if you travel by public transport here

Cosy room, it has everything that I need. Breakfast was nice and delicious. Staff was nice and friendly, helped me to book a cab when I requested.

If you are travelling with a luggage via public transport, you may want to reconsider booking here until the road constructions outside is done. It is indeed very near the train station (about 6mins walk), BUT there were road constructions going on so the only way to walk to the hostel is to walk beside the train track, OR on the one-lane narrow road. I had a 25kg luggage with me so I could not walk on the train track. Instead, I walked on the road and it was so stressful because cars had to slow down for me and I had to stop for them because the road was too narrow! There was even a huge construction truck with wheels bigger than me on the road but thankfully I was already reaching the end of the road by the time it came close to me. Very dangerous but I had no other choice because I didn't know it'll turn out like this. I decided to book a cab to Berchtesgaden HBF when I check out even though it's only a 6mins walk away and it costed 13euros. Also the only time i took a cab in Europe because I don't want to go through the same danger again. Bedsheet, pillow case wasn't the cleanest as there's lots of hair spotted....
