Beautiful and cozy pension with lovely views!

My stay at Pension Etzerschlössl was fantastic! The location was great (only a short but beautiful walk into town) and the room was clean, cozy and comfortable. Breakfast was also delicious and the selection to choose from was good. The host was very friendly and the property was very well maintained (even had a shelter for where the cars are parked). I hope to be back soon on my next trip to Berchtesgaden :)

Superb

Property: The room we got was amazing, it was newly renovated and we were lucky first guest. Property was clean, had good parking space. Kitchen, bed and bathroom was excellent. Maria Gern is just 2 min drive from the property. Excellent view of watzmann just from the main entrance. Hosts: The hosts were very kind. Breakfast served was amazing. Very helpful.

I enjoyed my stay at the pension very much. I stayed in the single room, and it was nice and clean, with the balcony and the exceptional mountain view! The private bathroom is indeed located separately from the room but it is quite spacious, with both shower and bathtub. The pension is located a bit far from the main town but it's reachable even without a car - it is possible to take a bus (free with the guest card, bus stop is very close to the pension) or walk for 20-25 minutes admiring the views :) The hosts were extremely friendly and helpful. I hope I will stay here again!

I was charged 6€ for the card payment, although the payment should have happen automatically before my arrival and no fees should have been applied. The vathroom is very small, the door cannot be opened properly. The shower needs some investment.

Für mich war das Frühstück ausreichend und auch ein zusätzliche Tasse Kaffee war kein Problem.

Persönlich hätte die Schlafmatratze etwas härter sein können und es war a bisserl ungewöhnlich das WC und Duschraum am anderen Ende der Etage zu haben, aber war für die paar Tage, wars OK (Betreff Einzelzimmer)

Wollten eigentlich gar nicht erst einziehen, es gab aber keine alternative.

Apartment ist ein umgebauter Kellerraum. Wahren im Juli 2025 im Etzerschlössl. Das Apartment entpuppte sich als umgebauter, schlecht gelüfteter Kellerraum mit niedriger Deckenhöhe. Das Fenster ließ sich nur halb öffnen, da die Fensterflügel gegen das Kopfende des Bettes stießen. Die Treppenstufen vom Bett (was erhöht steht) in den raum waren an der linken Seite abgeschrägt, so das man nur mit Mühe nachts zur Toilette am. Bei einer Feier im Gastraum über dem Zimmer war an Schlaf nicht zu denken.( Getrampel und Gescharre) Dieses Zimmer kann man nach nach meinem dafürhalten nur als Notunterkunft vermieten .Von mir keinerlei Empfehlung.

Die Dusche mit Toilette ist extrem klein, die Duschabtrennung kaum zu bewegen und insgesamt nicht sehr sauber. 2 große und zwei kleine Handtücher für 9 Übernachtungen. Frühstück mittelmäßig. Da an einer Straße gelegen zeitweise laut.

Wer sich ein bisschen bescheiden kann, ist in dieser Unterkunft sehr gut aufgehoben.

Das Frühstück war zufriedenstellend; man konnte sich für den Tag rüsten. Abwechslung beim Frühstück gab es allerdings nicht. Die Pension liegt außerhalb des Zentrums (ca. 1300 m Fußweg, allerdings berg- und tal). Durch die Kurkarte ist die Busbenutzung gratis; Busse fahren jede Stunde, allerdings nicht mehr abends: Also am Abend immer noch ein Spaziergang heim! Die Betreuung in der Pension war sehr persönlich. Freitags gibt es immer ein Essensangebot mit Partycharakter. Das Auto steht warm und trocken im großen Carport.

Das Frühstück hätte besser sein können. Das Badezimmer hätte größer sein können. Im Zimmer hätte ein Kühlschrank sein können, denn der Kühlschrank auf dem Flur war für private Zwecke verboten.

Prachtig pension. Heerlijk schoon en heerlijk ontbijt. Echte Bayerisch sfeer. Christian is zeer aangenaam en aardig. Het pension ligt iets buiten Berchtesgaden dus een auto is een must.

Sehr netter Gastgeber, gutes Frühstück. Auf eine Beschwerde hin wurde sofort reagiert, top!

Apartment unten leider sehr kalt und feucht. Es riecht muffelig wenn man reinkommt. Die Lüftung des Badezimmers ist sehr laut und läuft sehr lange nach, sodass wir nachts mit Handylicht auf Toilette gegangen sind. Der Kühlschrank ist ein älteres Model und daher auch sehr laut nachts wenn er gerade kühlt. TV sehr weit weg vom Bett und für die Entfernung leider zu klein.
