Convenient, clean hotel with fantastic hosts

Very convenient location with a supermarket right opposite the hotel. And 10 mins walk to the town’s bus station. The rooms have plenty of space and clean. With good range of selection at the breakfast. The hosts Beate and Anton are both very warm people who will try their best to help you if you have encounter issues during your stay. Thank you both for the great experience

Binderhausl is your home away from home!

We felt very welcomed and comfortable. The room decor was very nice, and the shelves in the closet allowed us to organize ourselves well. The breakfast offered a great variety of delicious food in a very attractive room, attended by the most helpful and friendly owner. It was a sterling value for the money.

Hotel Binderhausl is a wonderfully cozy place to rest your head after a day of exploring Bavaria.

The property was perfectly situated across the street from a grocery store and within walking distance of several restaurants, as well as a to-die-for bakery right down the street. Most importantly, the property's setting was delightfully picturesque, and the town of Berchtesgaden is like something out of a fairytale.

Wonderful hotel run by wonderful hosts just under breathtaking Watzmann!

The breakfast was really very good. As for the location of the hotel, it was very good as well. It is close to the railway station, can easily be reached on foot or by bus. The view from the balcony is amazing, you are just looking at Watzmann. More importantly, the hosts were very warm and attentive. Many thanks to them!

Vacation with a small child

The accommodation is located in a pleasant environment, not exactly in the city centre, but not far from it, in a quiet place. Our hosts were very kind and helpful. The breakfast is fantastic. Our room (number 7) was spacious and clean in every area.

I wouldn't say that I didn't like it; rather, I would see it as having potential for improvement. :) A microwave in the room wouldn't have been bad, and a mosquito net would also be helpful.

Everything was amazing: location, view from the room, breakfast, staff, facilities. We enjoyed our stay at the hotel very much.

Our neighbors were smoking on their balcony, so in the evening we could not enjoy the fresh mountain air.

Delightful quiet and centrally located hotel.

Really lovely owners, good breakfast, excellent location near train station and grocery stores. Easy access to both Berchtesgaden and Schönau am Königsee, and anywhere else the bus goes! Lovely private terrace too.

Beautiful stay

We had a fabulous stay in this lovely hotel. Room was big and clean with a bath and breakfast was so fresh with lots of options. Owner was very friendly and welcoming. Would highly recommend!

Very pleasant hotel in the heart of the Bavarian Alps.

Nice room with balcony and good views. Excellent buffet breakfast. Buses run from the main road outside to Koenigsee (lovely lake) and Bad Reichenhall, railway station and bus station are only a short walk away. Watzmann Therme is a nice spa about a mile away and good places to eat are the Hotel Schnabenwirt and the Hofbrauhaus Berchtesgaden (the latter also has folk music and dance on a Friday evening-excellent). Bus runs to Salzburg from the station.

The stairs are not ideal with heavy luggage (no lift at the property). The duvet and pillows were not as comfortable as other places but this did not stop me having a good nights sleep.

Unusual fabulous atmosphere, comfort and rest.

The hotel is located in the very center of Berchtesgaden, a 2-minute walk from the hotel is the grocery store EDEKA, a 5-minute walk from a shopping center with LIDL, DM, etc., as well as a bus station from where buses depart to all tourist destinations, including the Eagle's Nest and Lake Königssee. The guest card was kindly provided, which gives free travel around the city and discounts to many tourist places. It was a pleasant surprise. The hotel is simply amazing, everything has a homely cozy atmosphere, and surrounded by incredible nature - it's just a fabulous experience. The owners of the hotel are very nice friendly people, they help absolutely on all issues, very polite and intelligent. The hotel has unusually delicious breakfasts, a beautiful dining room and a terrace with great mountain views. A wide range of products is presented and absolutely all dishes are cooked so deliciously at home. Especially amazing cottage cheese pancakes with delicious alpine sour cream, delicious Air Fryer Scrambled Eggs with Bavarian sausages. Every day a different assortment, breakfasts are very tasty, tender and satisfying, because they are prepared according to homemade recipes and with great care. The hotel rooms are very clean, daily cleaning and change of towels, the room with a balcony and table+chairs has a great view of the fabulous mountains and forest, very beautiful, cozy and calm atmosphere. We very often relax surrounded by mountains and lakes, but this hotel is the best. We will definitely come again, I recommend this hotel with the highest rating.

Freundlich Familiär Liebevoll - "Bett & Frühstück" - Empfehlenswert

Sehr nettes Hotel mit überaus freundlichen Gastgebern, die auch gerne auf einen Plausch aus sind. Hier wird sich um die Gäste gekümmert, und man bekommt Tipps zum Aufenthalt. Des weitern ist zu erwähnen das es ein leckeres Frühstück gibt, wer "Bett & Breakfast" möchte ist hier genau richtig. Das Gebäude selbst ist etwas älter, aber die Zimmer werden immer wieder saniert, auf Vordermann gebracht, und sind liebevoll und sauber eingerichtet. Auch die Lage ist empfehlenswert, mittig zischen dem Zentrum Berchtesgaden und dem Königssee. Beides ist mittels Gästekarte auch bequem per Bus erreichbar. Die Haltestelle ist ca 50m vom Hotel entfernt. Zudem gibt es Ein EDEKA direkt gegenüber, eine Pizzeria und vieles mehr direkt in der Nähe. Wir hatten mit Nr. 7 eine große Wohneinheit mit 2 Schlafzimmer 2 Balkone und ein WC welches vom Bad getrennt ist. Auch ein Minikühlschrank ist vorhanden, welchen wir im Winter nicht genutzt haben. Sollten wir wieder Bedarf nach Berchtesgaden mit Frühstücksservice haben, werden wir hier wieder aufschlagen.

Wundervoller Kurzurlaub. Immer wieder gerne

Unser erster Bergurlaubund gleich so ein schönes Hotel erwischt. Im Binderhäusl fühlt man sich sofort willkommen. Die Gastgeberfamilie ist total nett und herzlich, man merkt einfach, dass hier Menschen arbeiten, die ihren Gästen wirklich etwas Gutes tun wollen. Das Haus ist gemütlich und lebendig, nichts wirkt kühl oder steril. Unser Zimmer war sehr schön, sauber und bequem und der Ausblick ist wirklich klasse. Das Frühstück war top: frische Eier, Weißwürste, Kaiserschmarrn und alles, was man braucht, um gut in den Tag zu starten. Da bleibt kein Wunsch offen. Für uns war es der perfekte Start in den ersten Bergurlaub. Wir haben uns rundum wohlgefühlt und kommen sehr gerne wieder.
