We loved the view from The Sleeping Goat! The main balcony looks straight out to the Waltzmann...just beautiful! Easy parking and check-in. Our room was so comfortable and very tastefully decorated. Communicating with the owner was easy via e-mails. We appreciated the bottle of wine that was in our room wishing us a Happy Anniversary!
Though it's not open every day, the club downstairs was open on the first night of our stay. It was fairly loud as we had our windows open for the breeze. We tried closing he windows (which did block out the noise) but then it was too warm for us in the room. The noise was actually quite jovial and we were happy for all the young people having a good time. The owner told us to go and have a drink on her. We didn't do that, but thought it was a lovely gesture. Luckily we were really tired and feel asleep quickly.

The hotel had so much character in the decor. So much attention to details. It was really unusual and very personalized. Also, we had lovely views from small balcony. The hotel was close to a main road but the views were exceptional.
A kitchen was available for use and there was a large shared porch that was also lovely for viewing the Alps if you didn't have a room with your own balcony.
We were on the third floor so not having an elevator could be difficult for some...or you just take it slow.

Perfect location to explore the area with free parking. Comfortable room with use of full kitchen and a gorgeous balcony to relax, read, eat on. View of mountains right there. Host offers a snack fridge on the honor system with drinks and easy meals to microwave.

Great view, convient transport to Koenigsee and elegant decorations! Wonderful place to stay.
