This was hands down the best accommodation of our entire trip!
From the moment we checked in, I absolutely loved every corner of this guesthouse — the interior design, the thoughtful decoration, the color palette, the quality of the furnishings — everything was done with great taste and care. You can really feel the host’s heart and dedication behind it all. (As an Airbnb host myself, I truly admire how this host goes the extra mile!)
The host was very responsive, even though it’s a self check-in/out guesthouse and we didn’t meet in person. Communication was always fast and helpful. We were even offered an early check-in without requesting it — such a warm and thoughtful gesture, even though we arrived at 4 PM. It left a great first impression.
The house has a beautiful mix of antique charm and modern comfort. Our room was tastefully decorated, well-organized, and had everything we needed. The bathroom was small but very well equipped — good water pressure and a reliable water heater. The bed, linens, pillow, and blanket were all incredibly comfortable and spotless.
We stayed for just 2 nights (though I honestly wish we could stay for months!). The entire place was sparkling clean. Common areas like the kitchen were cleaned daily, and trash was taken out regularly. The kitchen itself was fully equipped — perfect for making a simple breakfast. Fridge, microwave, kettle, toaster, induction stove, pots, pans, oil, salt, cutlery — everything you might need was there.
My absolute favorite spot was the balcony. Every floor has a lovely one, and our room even had a small private balcony. The larger balcony was perfect for enjoying a coffee or tea, reading a book, or simply sitting and soaking in the peaceful view. I can only imagine how magical it must be in autumn with golden leaves or during the wintertime.

If host can provide a little more amenities like disposable indoor room slipper, toothbrush toothpaste, other bathrooms toiletries, it will be prefect! The kettle in the room is a little bit small, however I understand it maybe fit the the small table design.

Clean, cute and stellar views
This property is truly a gem. Adorably decorated and the view is phenomenal. Beds are comfy and the room was a comfortable temperature with use of the provided fan at night. The property is very clean and well kept.
My only qualm is the location is a bit far from city center and far from the main bus station for hiking. The bus that goes up to the house only runs about once and hour and the last one is at 7 or 8pm. If you miss it, it’s a 25 min walk up hill from the main bus station which isn’t doable but unpleasant after a long day of hiking! Just plan around the bus schedule and this place is PERFECT. Would definitely stay again.

Charming Stay with Stunning Mountain Views
We loved the beautiful setting of this bed and breakfast. Our room was very comfortable, and the views of the mountains were absolutely breathtaking. Berchtesgaden is a lovely town—peaceful, picturesque, and full of charm. A truly memorable stay!

Spring break
Well-sized comfortable room. Excellent shower. 4 shared balconies on 2 floors. Quiet location with double glazing keeping traffic noise to a minimum. Bus stops about 100 metres away. Beer is provided in a communal fridge 330m €2. Recommend trips to Hintersee, Ramsau and Zauberwald walk between these places.
The pub that was advertised on booking is now closed. Limited bus service with the last bus from Berchtesgaden at 19 15. After then it is a walk or a taxi. the communal kitchen has 4 seats for 6 double rooms and the communal fridge is small for 6 couples.

Beautiful, old, alpine house which was exceptionally clean and offered everything we needed including a balcony with an amazing view and a kitchen. It has its own parking and is only a 10 minute walk into town.

Nice budget place with amazing views
We really liked this apartment, especially the view from the shared balcony on the top floor, I‘ve attached a few photos. A definite plus that we were able to stay with our dog without any restrictions. Also there’s a fully equipped shared kitchen, including microwave oven, fridge and kettle. Also we had a kettle and tea bags in our room. The location is 25 minutes far from train station and 10 (or 15 minutes, if you go with a dog) from bus station to Hintersee.
The furniture is a bit shabby.

Wonderfully view and very nice and cute hotel with detail which give you comfortable fleeing look like him and it was a mistake I didn't book two nights I just book one night and second night was booked and I regret but definitely I will come again

Fabulous stay
The property combined traditional with modern, very beautiful decor and views over the mountains. The room was very comfortable with lovely furnishings. Victoria was very accommodating and although we had an issue accessing WiFi in our room she helped to sort this out. The communal lounges and kitchen were well equipped. The Laughing Goat pub below the accommodation provided good food and service and meant we did not have to travel into the town to find an evening meal after a long day’s drive. All in all a very pleasant overnight

Breathtaking views in a high end B&B
Outstanding in every detail, great location, amazing views of the Watzmann on one side and of a cows heard (+ 1 bull) on the other side. Extremely clean and well equipped. We loved terrace. Plenty of parking space and a pub available from 17:00.

The rooms are charming. Everything was very clean. Using the key box outside to retrieve the key was very convenient. We visited the pub downstairs for dinner and drinks and had a great time. This is a great location for exploring the area and convenient to town. we appreciated the guest parking near the front door.
Breakfast is not served in the morning but this is not too much of a challenge. There is a kitchen area for guests to use and there are many cafes/bakeries in town.

I loved the view specially both sides of the balcony and the salon , you can have entire panorama of watzmann and oh it’s so amazing to have a drink in the evening and just look at the mountains under full moon .

This hotel/guest house really exceeded our expectations. The pictures on booking.com do not do it justice. This is by far the best hotel I have stayed in. The messages from the hotel were informative and friendly even though we did not meet. The hotel was very well decorated in a traditional fashion and it felt very homely.

The room and the guest house itself is very cozy. The decor is full of culture yet the entire complex is tidy and clean. The balcony on each floor and the common kitchen is superb when you want have a nice cool beer after a day of touring.

Really friendly host and such a pretty place! The pub downstairs is really cosy and the rooms are really nice as well! The view from the terrace is amazing and I loved sitting there at night and having my tea in the morning.

We love this place! It's absolutely beautiful. A new guest house but furnished with the traditional features. The room was beautiful and the communal facilities a super touch.
