The location was very scenic and only a short drive to sights, grocery stores and restaurants. There was plenty of parking. The house and rooms were very clean. Fans were supplied in each room. Even without air conditioning, the air temperature was very comfortable. We took advantage of the shared porch that gave us extraordinary views of the surroundings. We even spotted the Eagle’s Nest. There is also a shared kitchen that could come in handy if staying in the area for a longer time. We very much enjoyed our time there and would not hesitate to stay there again.

The kitchen felt grotty. A tablecloth would have made a huge difference as the kitchen itself has everything needed

We loved the view from The Sleeping Goat! The main balcony looks straight out to the Waltzmann...just beautiful! Easy parking and check-in. Our room was so comfortable and very tastefully decorated. Communicating with the owner was easy via e-mails. We appreciated the bottle of wine that was in our room wishing us a Happy Anniversary!
Though it's not open every day, the club downstairs was open on the first night of our stay. It was fairly loud as we had our windows open for the breeze. We tried closing he windows (which did block out the noise) but then it was too warm for us in the room. The noise was actually quite jovial and we were happy for all the young people having a good time. The owner told us to go and have a drink on her. We didn't do that, but thought it was a lovely gesture. Luckily we were really tired and feel asleep quickly.

The hotel had so much character in the decor. So much attention to details. It was really unusual and very personalized. Also, we had lovely views from small balcony. The hotel was close to a main road but the views were exceptional.
A kitchen was available for use and there was a large shared porch that was also lovely for viewing the Alps if you didn't have a room with your own balcony.
We were on the third floor so not having an elevator could be difficult for some...or you just take it slow.
