Alpenglühn Apartments - Adult Only

Loved the river! So nice to sleep with windows open & hear the river. Staff were very nice. Kids loved the pool. Comfortable bed. The unit is very nice.

Shower door squeaks very loudly. Laundry facilities would be nice. We paid to have our laundry done, which was very expensive, and a white shirt came back stained blue from being washed with dark blue jeans. Wish the hot tub would have been on!

The apartment was perfect for my family (including my dog). The kitchen has all you need to prepare quick meals. Location very convenient. The sauna was amazing.

This place is equipped to be a resort home, next to the river. The sauna and outdoor jacuzzi can be booked privately, and a pool operates during warmer seasons. Watzmann mountain, one of the highest peaks in the Bavarian alps, was the view from the apartment. We even had a Christmas tree with lights, and a fabulous modern kitchen. Peter Juhre the owner picked us up from the main train station at Berchtesgaden (just 5-8 minutes by car). We took the bus from the bus stop across the river to Salzburg centre in just 40 minutes. Berchtesgaden Old Town with Christmas market, a boat cruise at Konigsee and walk around/meals overlooking Hintersee and Konigsee are must-do's in winter. Peter and staff took great care of us throughout the stay, checking how we were settling in. Splendid location for an apartment. Thank you Peter and team!

The room/apartment was very comfy and clean. The staff was very friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable about Berchtesgaden and the surrounding area. Room views were scenic. The breakfast was huge!

I liked everything about this hotel and its location. Public transport was only a minute or two away.

Superfriendly host! The appartment was very spatious and clean with a nice terrace. The kitchen was fully equiped and we had a big badroom with more than enough towels. The heated pool was great for the kids. A lot of things to do in the area in summer. The host gives great advice for activities.

The host (Peter and very nice elderly lady) were so friendly and helpful - they treated you like family. Our unit was so spacious. The entire facility was so clean. The bathroom was HUGE and had plenty of towels and linens; the kitchen was well stocked and it would be fairly easy to make your meals inside. The TV was massive. The couch brand new. There are hooks and places to hang things everywhere and even plenty of cupboards to stow your items away. Even on the third floor we stayed quite cool with multiple fans. We stayed in a two bedroom unit with a balcony - you can see Eagles nest from the back. The pool and sauna were perfect after a long day of hiking. I definitely recommend trying out their 3-course meal at least once. It was very delicious, service was great, and so cute, quaint and convenient (we had fresh fish straight from Konigsee). We didn’t eat the breakfast but from the window saw that it was quite a large spread and very well done (we just like doing our own thing while everyone takes their time getting ready so didn’t participate). You can easily walk to the downtown area if you wanted. Its a perfect base for Konigsee and even Salzburg. I can’t wait to stay again! I was originally a little skeptical after reading some of the other reviews but I would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a B&B style resort. This is better than any hotel and comes with the friendly service you can’t quite get from a simple AirBnb. We’ve been traveling Europe steadily for a year now and this is probably going down as one of our favorites!

You have your own appartment, everything looks good, and everything is very clean. Comfortable beeds and a nice bathroom. Your own terrace where you can look up at the mountains (incl. Kehlsteinhaus) Parking space for your car, in front of the building.

Fantastic dinners planned by our host Peter, very friendly and friendly staff too! Overall a fun and enjoyable atmosphere. Rooms were clean and comfortable, and this part of Germany was lovely to stay in.

Ferienparadies Alpenglühn is a very nice accomodation at a few minutes driving of Berchtesgaden. There is a good pool, a heated jacuzzi and a small playing ground for younger childeren. The staff is very open and friendly. We had a BBQ at our first night and fresh caught fish at our third night. They just had reopened after the July floodings but nothing was noticed.

Parking was a little difficult because there is limited ground for the cars

Just bad timing with the weather and COVID. We’re looking forward to going back in ski season.

Very friendly staff, great views of the mountains, relaxed atmosphere and a really good kitchen chef makes this place well worth a stay. We stayed five days and regretted not having booked a little longer.

The hotel is right next to a mountain stream so if you want to sleep with open Windows you can hear the water gushing😊

Tolle Ausstattung. Wohnung gut ausgestattet. Sauna lädt für schmalles Geld zum verweilen ein. Sehr leckeres Frühstück.
