Frau Hanel is an exceptional hostess! The property is clean, comfortable and reasonably priced.

Everything was great. It's a well located, cute house (old town with restaurants in walking distance), nice, clean room and abundant, good breakfast (adapted to needs). The owners were very friendly and kind. One can park in the yard. Danke schön für alles!

There was no problem to mention.

Location was extremely close to a bus stop with links to Salzburg. Then a walk or bus ride down to the main bus station for trips to places like Lake Konigssee, Ramsau/Lake Hintersee. Watzmann Therme was right behind the b&b too and just a short walk into the main town. Breakfast was very filling, the room was quiet and sharing a bathroom was no problem, it was all very clean and the bed was SO comfy! There was also a fridge in the hallway for drinks where we enjoyed a bottle of local beer and a soft drink and there's a price list in the room, so cheap and thoughtful! Supermarket right across the road too.

I appreciated its homey feel, the comfortable beds, the clean facilities, and the friendly host! There was a luggage rack to lay out our bags. The room had a sink that was quick to warm. Itwas very convenient getting ready for bed since you did not need to travel to the shared bathroom. There was a small closet that contained robes for each of us. Off the room there was a nice patio that overlooked the road, but also provided some views of the mountains. Every morning the host would come and make our beds, which was such a treat! There is a minifridge in the common area by the rooms that contains beverages such as orange juice and wine that guests can purchase. There are 2 restrooms upstairs with the rooms, one containing just a toilet and a sink, and the other with the same plus a shower. I do mention that these rooms are on the 1st (2nd for USAmericans), but the stairs are not too high. Every morning breakfast is provided in a dining room. The breakfast is selected by you (incl. the time) at the beginning of your stay, and consists of a traditional German breakfast (bread, meat & cheese slices), plus yoghurt, soft boiled eggs, and beverages (coffee, tea, orange juice). The host is attentive and ensures that you have everything you need for breakfast. Duding your stay in Berchtesgaden you receive local travel passes. This will let you take the bus to local sights such as Königsee or the Salt mine. The Eagles Nest trip is covered up to Obersalzburg where you will need to buy a ticket as there is a specific bus line that goes up there. The location is just on important bus lines if you want to go visit the Eagles Nest, or the Salt mine. You are also a 10 minute walk from the old town (if you are a hiker that is). The old town is up on a hill, so if you need to account for that you should arrange for transportation or acquaint yourself with the bus lines, as they do travel to the old town.

I believe, there is enough evaluations in german, so I'd write this one in english, for the non-german speaking tourists: The position is very good, easy to reach, by car and then easy to move around. Town center is within walking distance. The host is very kind, helpful. Breakfast always fresh and tasty, simple, but enough. WiFi works ok, nice balcony, it can be very nice to sit there when it's not cold outside. Free parking included is always appreciated. Overall, I would recommend this nice house for any visitors, tourists, also for mountaineers.

The toilet and bathroom are not within the room (I found this out only after reservation). They are shared with other guests on the floor. I think this is OK for people, who don't require high standard (I believe, this is quite usual in this part of Germany for such kind of housing). I think, guys would never have problem with this, women can :-)

Cosy room, breakfast (fresh delicious rolls, few options for breakfast to choose), super nice service, location, very clean place.

feather pillows/featherbed for some people (allergy sufferers) may be problematic, no vegetables for breakfast eg. tomato or cucumber would be a great complement to cheese and ham :)

Anneliese is an absolutely wonderful host who offers the perfect balance between interest shown in her guests and privacy. Everything was very clean, including the common shower and toilet. Rather simple but good and complete breakfast. The city center with many nice restaurants is a 10 minute walk away, and there are lots of great things to do in the beautiful environment of Berchtesgaden.

Located on quite a busy street so there was a lot of traffic noise on the balcony at the front of the house (I think the balcony of the room at the back of the house is lovely, however! If we were staying there perhaps it would have been a 10/10). The room also got very warm during the day and we were not able to cool it down very well at night, but we were there during the height of summer.

The owner was really friendly and really attentive to our queries and question. The breakfast is really good and the place is close to all possibilities sich as Hbf anf grocery stores. It was a great weekend getaway. Will really highly recommend!

The parking space they provided was not direct to the house itself so we needed to walk for atleast 500m,but it's all good since we like walking a lot.

The location was right next to the river, our room was even overlooking Eagles Nest. There is a supermarket nearby, a beer house, bike rental, well pretty much everything was close. The rooms fit the style of the area, the furniture is a bit old but it is all so clean that it doesn’t matter. And the owner was the kindest person you could meet. She gave as a wonderful breakfast, so many tips what to see and do. It was really great. Also there is parking at the property. Would definitely recommend!

The breakfast options were great and our host was extremely kind. You can tell she really loves what she does.

I did not realise it was a shared bathroom when booking but the facilities are all clean and comfortable so it didn't matter.

Host was exceptionally kind and attentive. Breakfast was superb. Excellent location, 3 minutes distance from town historical center, restaurants, etc. It is 5 kilometers away from Konigsee parking. I would certainly come back!

The breakfast was very good, comfortable beds. Overall good experience.

Wifi connection was poor, bathroom was shared with other guests, which I wasn't aware of prior to my arrival.

Das Früstück war mit viel Liebe zubereitet. Auf die Wünsche wurde sofort eingegangen und es hat uns an nichts gemangelt. Unsere Gastgeberin ist super nett und hatte immer ein offenes Ohr für unsere Wünsche und Fragen. Wir haben uns rundum wohl gefühlt und kommen sehr gerne wieder. Wir können diese Pension nur weiter empfehlen :-))

Wir haben nichts zu bemängeln.

Die Gastgeber waren sehr freundlich. Das Zimmer sehr sauber. Beim Gemeinschaftsbad kam man sich nicht ins Gehege und es war sehr sauber. Der Straßenlärm war beim geschlossenem Fenster kaum zu hören. Das Frühstück war individuell und reichlich. Die Gastgeberin hat Tipps für Ausflüge gegeben was sehr hilfreich für uns war. Alles in allem hatten wir einen schönen und zufriedenen Aufenthalt. Preis Leistung passt.

Sehr hilfsbereite und freundliche Gastgeber. Alles sehr sauber. Leckeres Frühstück wir nach eigenen Präferenzen zusammengestellt. Zentrale Lage, eine Bushaltestelle befindet sich ebenfalls direkt vor dem Haus. Sehr gutes Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis!
