10 minute walk from the station, comfy bed, very reasonable price. Excellent for a 1 night stop prior to an early flight, 10 minute train to Stansted
Hot on a hot day, bedroom facing busy street and opposite restaurant with a balcony where lots of diners were talking till late, decor dated.

Absolutely great; there wasn't nobody at reception but I was aware of this when I booked. All I had to do was to give a phone call at the specified number and in no time, very quickly/instantly a friendly gentleman appeared, gave me the key and wifi passwords. Very good, tidy room, in a select place, beautiful old building. When I will have early flights again from Stansted, I will return. I definitely recommend the George Hotel.

Great location and very comfy bed.
No tv, internet very hit or miss. Had to borrow a phone to check in as mine didn’t work in the uk.

No breakfast included. Location
To many stairs, shower not running away quick enough which overflowed. Carpets very dirty, poorly decorated. No cups in room for hot drinks.
