Because of the limitations for the less mobile it would limit future stays.

The staff were outstanding, always keen to help and very professional and courteous. Menu choices are very accommodating.

No accessible room. All rooms on ground floor are baths with a shower over the tub. Levels 1&2 are showers, but there’s no lift.

Absolutely excellent

Lovely location to Stansted and very clean and tidy. The staff there every single one of them were so friendly and working flat out ! I cannot stress enough how good all the staff were. I didn’t expect the excellent hospitality and I stay in lots of really high end hotels and this place honestly blew me away how nice they all were. Food in restaurant first class. 10/10 would definitely recommend

Lovely night away

The room was comfortable and clean. Breakfast was good, with a variety of options on the menu, as well as a continental buffet. Convenient location, and very friendly service - the staff were lovely.

It would be nice to have access to apps like BBC iPlayer to give guests the option to sign in on their accounts and watch a bigger variety of shows

Did the job we needed

Excellent sized bed with extra pillows and somewhere to hang clothes. Bathroom clean and tidy with lovely fresh large towels.

Not a drawer to put folder clothes Shower over the bath was okay but felt a little unsteady on my feet when standing in the bath - nothing to grab onto/hold Hot water for drinks was not working - had to use (when shown) the one on the coffee machine

Great place but the beer was very disappointing

The accommodation and staff

The beer (Abbot and Landlord) both were flat. The head disappeared after 2 gulps. The head congealed then disappeared. It stay white and creamy and cling to the side of the glass until the last drop. Neither of these pints met this standard.

Comfortable & Modern but let down by the pub/restaurant

Comfortable bed and nicely decorated rooms. Bathroom was very smart and had it all. Reception staff very polite and helpful.

The WiFi was weak and kept dropping out and the food in the adjoining pub was poor, undercooked and lacking quality. Chips were raw and steak pie had literally one piece of steak in. Would use the hotel again but not the pub.

Laura stood out as exceptionally helpful and all other staff are good. A pleasant area and best restaurant in the immediate area. Atmospheric pub/restaurant. Comfortable king size bed. Good parking. Functional rooms but missing a few items: toilet brush tissues soap dish toiletry rack in shower fridge would be useful

WI FI in rooms is non existent Cannot hold a conversation on wi fi connection on phone! They have failed to install a wi fi extender in the rooms and despite numerous complaints from guests (witnessed people checking out as not happy to be away from home without wi fi) it is still a huge problem.

I have stayed several times before. Cozy atmosphere friendly and welcoming staff.

There is no WiFi in the bedrooms. First of all the signal just doesn’t reach them unless you stand in the corridor. Second, the bandwidth is so low that you can’t even load Google search engine. Third, you get logged out every few minutes and have to log in again with email address and irrelevant questionnaires about why you are visiting . Since the area has no 5g you rely on WiFi if you want to connect. Why can’t you hire an IT person for half a day to sort it out?

A breath of fresh air

The room was exceptionally clean and comfortable. It was warm considering the freezing weather outside and I slept really well. I often stay in a travelodge for work and this felt like a five star hotel in comparison and for around the same price. The staff on reception were super helpful and friendly and the room had everything I needed. I didn’t try the pub as I was working but I will next time.

Lovely rooms and good value for money but don’t get excited about breakfast

The room was lovely, cosy and comfortable. The shower was good. Friendly lady on the reception desk.

Nothing wrong with the property it’s self. The breakfast Was poor, all cold and the scrambled eggs were over cooked (maybe microwaved). The lady taking our order didn’t seem very happy and didn’t smile once.
