Really nice hotel. Room was really hot but it was a heat wave and probably not a problem most of the time. Staff were so friendly and helpful especially in the pub for dinner and breakfast. Easy access to train station and travel in to London. Was a nice place to stay outside of all the business. Easy access to Stansted airport too. Would definitely stay again.

On arrival our room had not been cleaned from previous guests. I expected more as this was my 60th birthday weekend. It was solved by moving us but totally unacceptable

The Green Man is a lovely place to stay, nicely decorated and clean, comfortable rooms. The beer garden is an added gem in the summer months. The staff were extremely helpful and courteous.
Our only complaint was that there were insufficient staff in the bar and restaurant to cope with high demand at the weekend.
I however would definitely recommend the Green Man and will look forward to my next stay.
