The management are absolutely amazing amazing the facilities are very clean. It is a beautiful place.

It was in a quite location, very warm and cosy and clean.

Being on the 3rd floor, due to arthritis made it difficult to climb the stairs

Very dirty, floorboards loud could hear a lot of other guests noise. Cushions had weird stains.

Nice house

Clean, nice en suite and comfy bed. Quiet. Nice self service breakfast.

Room was in the attic, had I known I would have asked for a lower floor as stairs are not good for me. As a result I didn’t come back down for coffee in the evening as on ground floor and I couldn’t keep doing the stairs.

Very clean and comfortable. Great nights sleep. Toast, cereal and lovely yoghurts for breakfast. Good WiFi.

Excellent value for money, clean very comfortable. Facilities very good for self service. Great pub with good food within five minutes walk. I will use it again.

Just off the motorway. Can’t fault it

More like a hostel than a B&B. The room was clean but very basic. Clean bath towels were provided during our stay. There was free Wi-Fi. Communal lounge and kitchen area - help yourself to free cereals, toast, tea and coffee in the mornings - then wash up your cutlery after yourself.

There was parking on the property but could be difficult at times to park. The bathroom was small with nowhere to put our toiletries. Shower head required replacing - water was warm but was a trickle - difficult to have a proper wash. There was nowhere to hang towels in the bathroom.

The building is interesting. It gave a feeling of what it must be like to be housed in a government sponsored dodgy Home Office HMO.

The room shown in the photos and description was not the one allocated. The room allocated was an absolute disgrace. The "garden view" was impossible to see through the filthy roof window

Property was clean, excellent location, everything was neatly arranged.

There wasn’t any means to control the temperature of the room. I found the rooms are very warm, even after keeping both the windows open throughout the night.

The common room could be loud if the fire door was open, however once closed did not cause an issue

Location is great for my work. Open kitchen so you can order in takeaway, provided you wash up afterwards.

I think someone had been smoking- another guest said it smelt like cannabis- on the first floor.

I liked nothing. - Room directly adjacent to shared bathroom so am woken up to sounds of being deficating and coughing - Cobwebs, dust, dirt and food, spiders and black mould found in room and bathrooms - Sink tap in bathroom damaged - Radiator grimy and rusty in shared bathroom - Broken pull cord to control single bulb with no lamp shade and no bedside switch - Room given was not in any photographs advertised - Advertised as having a flatscreen tv (only a small 22” tv) - Advertised as having a drying rack for clothes (none) - Advertised as having garden view (only carpark) - Bed uncomfortable and noisy - Paint chipped of bedframe - Milk in fridge expired - Front door left open both times I entered - Glasses in cupboard were dirty - Emergency lighting had no functioning battery - No staff on site to speak to Felt like staying in a hostel. You couldnt pay me to stay there again.

Nobody to meet us on arrival, was sent text message as check in, people running about trying keys in doors, my family didn't feel safe at this property We checked out after 1 night to seek alternative accommodation, informed the landlord by text, who didn't reply, wasn't offered a refund. This is not a hotel or guesthouse

The breakfast, communication and cleanliness were good. The rooms were basic but all I needed for my short trip. I was very pleased. The house and the gardens are nice and the kitchen facilities are really good.

You can hear other people moving around - some soundproofing would go a long way I think. Perhaps having two locks on the doors would be preferable for lone female travellers too.

The only good thing for us was the location.

We weren’t made aware that the breakfast was self services until we received a text from the owner an hour before check in. Our bathroom was dirty, we had to ask for it to be cleaned which was done the next day. Pillows were very flat and old. The whole place is in need of a refurb in our opinion. Won’t be staying there again.

Nice clean tidy and large rooms. Nice garden and quiet location. Good parking.

No info sent to us as to how to get onto the building. Self serve for everything, didn't get to see anyone working there. No instructions for WiFi. Bathroom smelt of drains.

The bed was a bit squeaky, but very comfortable indeed. Everything was nice and clean. Beautiful building in a lovely quiet location.
