I had a quiet room, luckily I wasn't affected by the wedding party that carried on through the corridors and some bedrooms. Loved hearing the robins in the trees at the back! The hotel had been recommended to me and the location was perfect for Wodson Park Leisure Centre.
I paid £200 for two nights when I booked months ago when it seems I could have paid much less if I'd booked later on... The breakfast was also a bit on the expensive side.

Everything about the one night stay was excellent.
Air conditioning in the bedroom would have been nice, but being a Grade II listed building, alterations like that are not allowed. Otherwise, everything else was superb.

Location
Small rooms, no Aircon (grade listed so not allowed to install Aircon - 35 deg heat, room was stiflingly hot). Restaurant & bar staff all young and clueless. Meals served, but no cutlery, serviette’s or condiments provided as part of serving the meal - by time they sorted it, food was cold!
