The location of the venue is great if you're travelling by train or need to catch the Scillonian.
The room has no frills, but is more than what you would expect for the value-for-money price.
Rooms facing the main road are noisy, so earplugs would be recommended!

Great location near the station, harbour and town centre. Host helpful and accommodating when our train was delayed. Good communication.
Rooms quite compact and decor a bit basic

The location was perfect for us - very close to the railway station and walking distance from the quay, making it a great place to stay before and after a trip to the Scilly Isles. The proprietors were friendly and they served an excellent breakfast
Rather noisy at night - though this was inevitable being on a main road. Rooms a bit small. Generally a bit basic but this was a small guest house not a luxury hotel so that’s to be expected. No real complaints.
