Beautiful building, surroundings and decor, very welcoming host and our room was very comfortable and spacious. Very clean too.

the only thing which would have been better was if the breakfast serving time was a little longer, say 8 -10, rather than 8-9am. Otherwise, it was a very pleasant stay and I'd definitely stay here again.

Torwood House and Lynda and Steve are fantastic. We would stay here again!

Lynda and Steve are great hosts, helpful and talkative and made us feel at home. The house is in a great location, and we had a room in the back so it was very quiet. The bed was super comfortable, and they made us a great breakfast. We were close enough to walk to dinner the first night in Penzance. Parking was available on the street directly in front of the house.

Can't think of anything that would have improved the stay (less rain, but not in their control).

A great place in Penzance

Great location; 5 minutes from the beach, and about 5 minutes from the shops. On street parking right outside the door (and there's a lot). Lynda (and Steve) were great hosts. Breakfast was brilliant, would definitely recommend one of the yoghurts they offer. The room itself was a decent size; comes with a fridge, heater (which was used briefly once, and does the job), and a very comfortable bed. If in the Penzance area, I'll definitely stay again.

The toilet seemed cramped. The bathroom itself was a good size. Although I don't know how they could fix that minor issue. And one time, after returning from the town, there was an odd smell, from the bathroom. Water pressure in the shower, wasn't the best (but still more than acceptable). The bedside lamps were also pretty dim. Those are just 2 very minor points. But I'd still give it 10/10

What you expect from a traditional B&B. Spacious attic studio. Generous cooked breakfast of our choice as well as cereal/yoghurt, etc. Busy streert for parking.

Overall a very pleasant stay and our hosts Lynda and Steve were very pleasant and great breakfast with all the trimmings

The property was in a good location. Easy walking to the shopping centre, eateries and the bay.

The only downside was the birds in the trees roosting overnight where you park on the street. Our car was covered in bird droppings out first morning and it was very difficult to remove. We just found somewhere elsewhere close by not under a tree and that solved the problem.

Peaceful Penzance

The location was quiet and peaceful but just a short walk from the centre of town. The room was very comfortable and we slept so well. Linda was super friendly and we both enjoyed the breakfast it was a great menu and beautifully cooked. We had a lovely stay

Very relaxing stay, comfortable sleep and perfect breakfast

The room was very clean and comfortable, exceptionally quiet and relaxing. Owners helpful and friendly, breakfast was perfect with every dietary need catered for as well. Great area to explore with exceptionally restaurants in the local area, especially for seafood. We will definitely stay again next time we visit, have already highly recommended to friends as an excellent place to stay.

Just what I needed!

Torwood House has a very homely and restful vibe. Linda provides a friendly welcome and every contact with her was smiley/accommodating. Steve provided a lush cooked breakfast and I instantly noticed the quality of produce being served on the plate eg free range egg, butchers sausages. Also a comprehensive choice of cereals and continental style appetisers to fuel up for a busy day ahead. Room was comfy, especially the bed, nice shower and had all the facilities needed for my stay.

There was nothing I didn't like, and if there had been anything that I needed to highlight then I feel that Linda would be only happy to help.

Perfect staycation for a Penzance weekend

Lynda is an exceptional host, and we look forward to visiting more again in the future. This was our third visit, and we brought friends! She set us up in rooms that were convenient to each other, and also so as not to disturb other guests. They laid out the dining room so we were all able to sit together for breakfast, and made sure we had all the information needed to enjoy our stay.

No notes! Torwood House is our favourite.
