It did what it said on the tin. I wanted a bed for the night and I got it - and am grateful for that
1- Basic price - I just needed a bed for the night as all trains were cancelled due to Storm Goretti 2- Good, convenient location - less than 100 yards to the Railway Station 3- The room seemed clean and tidy 4- It was as described. A shared bathroom - as described
1- Very odd smell to the room that didn't fade with time 2- Very noisy from passing traffic. The road seems to be a rat run and I felt that I heard every car all night 3-Conflicting contact information - I came across 3 different mobile numbers in various places in the property and online 4- It felt unwelcoming. A basic room, with a towel and a couple of small toiletries 5- A poor night's sleep, despite being tired from travelling.

Adequate for a 1 day stay if nothing else available.
Good location. Tidyish room with a small table and chair, good size TV that worked. There is use of a kitchen and dining room. Good fast WiFi connection.
The cottage is in poor decorative condition wall paper coming of the walls. The front door uses a digital lock as do the bedrooms would be better with key. The smell of moth balls or mould treatment was over powering and made breathing difficult. Very cold in the room, very low lighting level especially the bed side lamp. The wardrobe in the room seemed better suited to growing mushrooms due to dampness. The bed is very low so not ideal for older guests also the bed frame has a very hard sharp edge which is painful on your shins. There were multiple WiFi passwords poorly written on a card in the dining room each different, had to try each before getting the right one. A printed card in the room would be better. No staff seen, all done via internet. Overall seems as though minimal effort has been put in to the accommodation but could be much better. Road noise is very noticeable.

    Good for overnight stay.
The shower was very good, stayed at a hot temperature, rather than fluctuating hot & cold, as most do.
Never saw any staff, just emailed codes for front door & room door.

    Mold and Damp.
The location to the train station was good
Our room smelled damp. The toilet didn't like to flush. There were colonies of mold in the shower. There was a fan in our room that did have blades. The walls were falling apart.

Good value for money, simple and comfortable.
Good central location, simple secure setup. Both of the other rooms were occupied but I only glimpsed one other person as I was leaving. Good value for money, nothing fancy, but well maintained with decent storage and furnishing, and functional kitchen and bathroom.
Roadworks meant there was extra traffic outside the window, on a blind bend, so quite a lot of shouting from frustrated drivers! But I'm sure when the roadworks are finished it will go back to being a quiet back street.

overall we enjoyed our stay in Penzance and surrounding areas
being 2 minutes walk from the railway station and bus stop was handy being without a car.
Being elderly in our 70s and 80s having to go upstairs to the bathroom was at times an ordeal. Not recommended for older folks.
