Super comfortable, exceptionally neat stay on a quiet street.

Impeccably neat and clean rooms. Super Spacious as well. I stayed in the family room. Feather soft beds and a cooler, which was great on a super hot day! And the room smelled absolutely divine! Close to the promenade and on a quiet street, with a Lidl close by.

For me, my room’s bathroom was smaller than I expected but I don’t really have complaints about it as the room compensated for this. No fans though which was a bummer for a super hot hot hot day!

Relaxing place to stay while exploring the area around Penzance

Spacious room with club chairs & side table looking down into the street, very sunny & light room. Close to the Promenade and to supermarket and cafés/ restaurants

It was everything I wanted it to be

The room was clean and comfortable and the en suite bathroom had a good shower. Sally and Alan were welcoming and friendly and as a solo I felt safe and at home. I was able to walk everywhere locally and the house is quite near to the bus and train stations. I would definitely stay there again.

Highly recommended and comfortable stay

Comfortable with lots of pillows. Alan and Sally were friendly and flexible hosts who let us store our luggage before check-in time. Amenities were great. Location was superb: 20 mins walk from the Penzance station and 10 minutes from the town centre. 5 mins from promenade and Lidl. Price was decent for a summer bank holiday stay.

Very nitpicking but tap water didn’t taste good (we bought water from grocery store), and hairdryer was old and noisy (not drying very much).

Lovely place-great location

This is a lovely property on a quiet street, 5 minute walk from the seafront. The family room was quite large and included a nice sitting area in the bay window. The owners are very friendly & we enjoyed chatting with them while waiting for our taxi! We will definitely be back.

Friendly host and amazing location

The host is very friendly and accommodating. The location of the guest house is walking distance from the beach and the town centre. The place is clean and they provided a portable fridge. Quiet and peaceful location. Thank you so much. Highly recommended.

Very clean and everything we needed gor a couple of nights stay.

The bed was a little short for my 6ft 4 husband but the mattress was still very comfortable , I usually check the beds don't have ends on in places we stay because of his hight.

Location perfect, just a 15 minute walk from rail/bus station. 2 minutes from the promenade. The hosts are very friendly and informative. I plan to visit the area again and will definitely check the availability of Chiverton house.

Very good affordable stay in Penzance

We received a free room upgrade because the place was not fully occupied which was very nice, so we stayed in a room with a double bed and a single bed, facing the street. The room size was good, the double bed was comfortable. The price is very reasonable. The hosts are very friendly and helpful. The location is great. We were able to walk anywhere in Penzance within approximately 20 minutes. Most restaurants were less than a 12-minute walk.

The bathroom was small. Parking is a challenge. The day we arrived, we were very fortunate to find a parking space very close to the guest house. The second evening (around 5:00 p.m.) we had to park at the end of the street by the AFC football field. However, I get the feeling that, compared to other locations in Penzance, the parking here is not that bad. I'm sure parking only gets more challenging in the summer.

A great stay in a comfy spacious room. I hope to come again.

The location is great, just round the corner from the sea front, only a short leafy walk into the centre of town. We took a day trip to the Isles of Scilly, Chiverton House is a short walk to the harbour along the sea front, and not far from the train station. The staff were super helpful and friendly. There was a small fridge in the room as well as the complimentary tea and coffee. There's no good view but the road is quiet and nice.

The shower was a bit small but not bad.

Only one thing: I prefer 100% cotton sheets. Poly cotton makes me too hot. This might have been exacerbated because I had a bad cold, so had difficulty sleeping the first night (I am aware that cotton is the most polluting crop in the world, but I am used to it).

Very friendly and helpful hosts. Comfortable room and very clean. Also nice and warm when the evenings were chilly. I would have liked a fridge for my breakfast supplies but otherwise excellent. Lovely few days break in Penzance.

Location, cleanliness + very accommodating owners.

We were in the attic which was a steep climb. Fair dues to the owner he carried our case up. Should be stated at time of booking that upper rooms are not suitable for people with breathing and mobility issues.
