Great stay, great location !!

Staff were all so kind and attentive to everyone’s needs. Breakfast was stunning with only local (and delicious!) products.

Hotel Wilson is good, has historic charm, is very convenient, but is not exceptional.

The location of the hotel is very convenient, just 10 to 15 min. walking to the Dijon city centre.

Hotel Wilson in Dijon is a historic hotel that offers private car parking in the inside courtyard. The staff is very helpful (ex. with changing rooms or with plugging-in our electric car at the Hotel's loading station). We stayed in a large double-bedroom for 3 nights in October 2025. While the bed was very comfortable !! :-) and the bathroom and separate toilet had been renovated recently !! :-), we found the furnishing and lighting in the bedroom to be old and impracticable. It is time for improved lighting and larger furniture (preferably in antique style) that makes better use of the space in the room. What disappointed us was the contrast we felt between the lovely attractive photos of a hotel with historical charm and the reality of a rather dark and poorly furnished bedroom. Otherwise, no complaint. Breakfast was very good and is offered in a nice space with antique charm. One more note for guests who have problems walking steep stairs: The main entrance to the hotel is very odd: a small insignificant entrance door with an immediate staircase as you step inside that goes half-a-floor down to the reception desk. There is another entrance at ground-level for automobiles to the inside private car-parking (this is possibly barrier-free for wheelchairs, etc.).

Ok accommodation close to city centre.

Convenient location.

Bed was not very comfortable, we were assigned a room on the street side far away from the reception and breakfast room. This was annoying because we were clearly one of only a very few couples there. I’ve noticed that by using booking.com we do get assigned typically to the substandard rooms of the establishment. It’s one thing if the hotel is full but quite another when there are very few guests staying there.

Fine for a short stay.

Within walking distance of old ( central) Dijon. Street parking very close ( free) or courtyard parking ( charged). Quiet - good sound proofing. Comfy bed. Prompt staff response to a minor problem.

Some areas a little tired eg no paint at base of ensuite bathroom door.

Adequate , but not memorable.

Location, close to city centre, private gated parking, (if available ) as limited spaces in this area, with rechargeable electric car access. Period property with lift, and room had air conditioning.

Buffet breakfast was expensive, for the selection , and quality, especially being in such a fabulous foodie paradise. Staff were ok, but not memorable. A little more attention to dusting in rooms, needed.

Wonderful stay in a historic hotel.

The building is very historical and pretty, lots of original character. The staff are friendly. The rooms are very nicely decorated. We loved the place!

The only thing that could have been improved would be to pay more attention to keeping the soaps etc refilled in the bathroom, which were low when we checked it, and almost empty on the last day.

A simple and enjoyable stay

This hotel had a really old timey boutique feel- we used actual keys (not cards!) and there were old books around the hotel that we read. The space had real personality. The staff was very pleasant and kind. The breakfast was simple and delicious.

Note to guests who are driving, there's limited parking in the front to meet someone who can open the back entrance- you also might need to do a couple loops around the block find the garage! But hotel staff will meet you by the entrance so you can't miss it. The surrounding neighborhood doesn't have a ton of personality but you can walk 5-10min to more interesting restaurants

Great parking in the town centre for a hotel of this size, gated parking so secure . Great room, it was a hot day and only 1 fan spoke to reception and got another ASAP 😊 It was a 15 minute walk into the centre which was reasonable, The reception staff for checkin/checkout were fantastic very friendly and accommodating. I would recommend this hotel we were only there for 1 night but it fulfilled all our requirements.

All good I did not have breakfast so cannot comment.I had a look at their bar prices and they were very good.

Perfect for a quick stay.

Located within walking distance to old town and easy to find. Staff are friendly. Perfect for a quick stop over. There’s private parking available but if there are few big cars parked it is a challenge to park. The staff was extremely helpful and made it a point to guide us into the parking bay.

Although there’s a lift you still need to use stairs to get to the room.We were on the top floor room facing the main road and with a small window open (only source of ventilation ) the traffic was loud and there were illegal racing taking place late at night. it was just too loud to get a good nights rest with window open.

Nice hotel with traditional architecture and good services and location

Very nice hotel, well renovated, including elevator. Very good services and location. The room was cleaned daily. The bed was very comfortable. The bathroom was equipped with everything you need. Friendly staff and helpful throughout the stay.

The room with exposed beam had a certain smell specific to old buildings but in exchange the architecture was very nice.

The hotel is well located for walking into Dijon, about a 15 minute walk to most of the sites. The private parking was secure and very convenient, and rooms are of a good size and clean.
