Great location to explore charming city

Location is great, breakfast is very nice, we got upgrade so the room was spacious and comfortable. Everything was very clean.

We wanted a massage, we asked in the evening for the next day. It turned out that it was not possible to organise it as hotel outsource this service. Communication around this topic needs improvement, we gave feedback to the receptionist. We also specified the time of arrival and when we came room was cold. We got electric heater upon request, but situations like this should be avoided.

Delightful stay in this charming hotel with delicious food and wonderful staff

A really charming hotel in old Dijon, fantastic staff who are professional, friendly and knowledgeable. Lovely breakfast and a delicious dinner with sommelier recommended wine. Our room was lovely with one of the most comfortable beds I’ve ever slept in! The valet parking is very useful.

Great central hotel

The valet parking was amazing, car ready outside for when we checked out. The staff were really helpful and booked us a lovely restaurant. The location was central, everything on our doorstep. The room was spacious and comfy and cosy.

I didn't like being there with my kids because it meant I missed out on the dining experience!

The property was in a great location for shopping and restaurants and the staff were fantastic

Was very dark and everything could do with an update. €110 euro to use the sofa bed was a little expensive. Was only €45 less than an entire room.

Great location, lovely hotel, problematic internet

The staff was excellent and responsive. The location is great for exploring Dijon and getting to the train station. The room and bathroom were great, and they provided bathrobes and slippers.

Going online was a major problem. It required repeated sign-ons to their unsecured network, and the speed was slow. If you rely upon internet for business, this is not the place to stay.

Comfortable bed. Close to town centre

Stairs up to the room. Fixtures and fittings in need of repair. Bathroom and cupboard doors were faulty. Sink tap faulty.

Great for an overnight stop

This was an overnight stop for us going on holiday and then again on the return journey. It was clean and staff where attentive. Our view was the roof of a lower building but was not really an issue for us. The main bed was comfy however the put you up for our daughter was not. Breakfast the first time was not explained and we ended up paying for just scrambled eggs and a tiny portion. On the return journey it was and they brought fruits yogurts, hams etc this was better but at 23euros per person expensive.

Nice stopover at great hotel in centre Dijon

We stayed as a family of five with our three kids and had two rooms. Both were very comfortable, clean, and well set up. The staff gave us a warm welcome and were really helpful throughout our stay. The hotel is in a great location to explore Dijon, and it made for a very pleasant stopover on our trip. Highly recommended

Location. Very welcoming staff. Lovely cool room as it was so hot. Very comfy bed. Valet parking a real bonus in this heat. We did not have time for breakfast and the restaurant was closed as it was Sunday. I therefore cannot judge the catering.

Fabulous stay in Dijon, the hotel is perfect, great staff and premises!

The hotel staff are exceptional, the location is an easy walk from train and in perfect spot to explore town. The room was very large and roomy, and everything was top notch, we did not have the breakfast but it looked great. I highly recommend staying at Chapeau Rouge

The Position was excellent and staff were so good. Driver service booked by the hotel was excellent.

Central Location. Ease of access to main Dijon sights and shops/restaurants. Room was comfortable .

Overlooking the Street. Unable to sleep with window open due to routine noise. Room did have air con. Shower and Bath combined . The bath surface was so very slippery especially as Gel wash and Shampoo was situated away from The shower and too high to reach whilst in the Bath. Crazy. Room 343 was very small for two people especially as a Superiir Room.

Perfect getaway for a romantic weekend for foodies

Excellent house in a very good location to discover Dijon. Close to all attractions. Very welcoming and helpful staff that made our stay unforgettable. Generous and spotless room with a very nice bathroom. The hotel restaurant is superbe! In short: A perfect stay!

I would certainly visit Dijon again. But not because of this hotel.

Very good position in the centre of town. Covered parking nearby was convenient and inexpensive.

The Hostellerie aims heroically to punch above its weight. The service is meticulous, but is it really necessary to have an 'a la carte' menu for breakfast? It is too early in the morning to negotiate such pretentiousness. Our bedroom unfortunately smelt a bit off: had something died in a ventilation duct? Apart from that it had all the normal comforts of a decent hotel.

The rooms were spacious, well-appointed and comfortable. Pretty decor and nice big bathrooms.

Friends had a bathroom either a tub that was a bit dangerous. Slippery showers are also hard for older people.

Great stay except for the shower/bath…

Location, spacious room, great breakfast, friendly staff…

Bathroom: we had a shower in a Jacuzzi type bath. The bath was slippery and too high to step in and out in a safely manner. No grip, no nothing. Really very dangerous!

1st no coffee ☕️ offered complimentary down stairs ! For those who do not like room coffee makers ! We had to pay for , let’s say not a good cup from the dining room and it was cold . Again an attitude !!!! staff , except Emily , night crew was sketchy and short ? complementary coffee in the downstairs lounging area should be offered no excuses !!!
