Nice stay but Ibis Budget in disguise

We liked the location and having the easy parking access right below the hotel at only €7.50. Nice room, clean, friendly staff.

We stayed at this Ibis on our return trip after we had previously stayed at the Ibis Budget which is in the same building. It cost an extra 10€ and we didn't really notice much difference (maybe the size of the room??). We expected maybe the extra $$ would get us a kettle and coffee in the room, but not even that.

The Hotel is in a good location, easy to find, with kind and helpful staff.

We arrived late but the staff were welcoming and accommodating. The Breakfast Room the next morning was busy with two coach parties departing early. The catering staff coped well and the counter was never 'out of stock'.

We appeciate our stay was at an Ibis Budget Hotel but feel kettles and tea/coffee making materials could be provided in all rooms

Friendly staff, cleanliness not great

Very friendly staff. Bed very comfortable. Only 10ish minutes walk from the centre. Breakfast was alright.

Doors slammed so loud the wall shook sometimes. Cutlery at breakfast not clean at all (on all 4 days, not a one-off). Stains and bits left on forks and spoons, not very hygenic. Cleanliness especially in the bathroom. There were stains on the floor from a previous guest that I had to remove myself.

Great location and very nice helpful reception. Availability for last minute booking in the same day.

Minimalistic breakfast and terrible coffee. Air-co in the room probably very old, not working properly and very very loud. Room was stuffy and impossible to get fresh air, during night couldn't sleep because of loud "engine" in air-co starting work every few minutes without any effect for the air. And the price from booking.com was 30 euro higher 2p.p.n than on entrance...

Great for a good value overnight stop

This is a budget hotel and delivers exactly what it promises. A great choice for our needs en route south for an overnight stop. Underground carpark just in front of the hotel (7.5 euros/night) so very convenient. A short walk to the historic centre with a great choice of bars and restaurants. Very quiet and beds comfortable.

A functional hotel

Not too far from city center, clean comfortable rooms and very helpful staff. This is a great place to stay if you spend most of the day outside, discovering the city. Otherwise it may get boring even with the TV, room service and the foosball table in the lobby.

Not much but maybe if breakfast was included, it would’ve been nice.
